Bombers players scrap plans to visit Vegas

ESSENDON has scrapped plans for an end-of-season trip to Las Vegas later this week.

Several players were to holiday together in Vegas but have opted to cancel the trip out of respect to a Port Adelaide player who died in the US resort town at the weekend.

Probably thread worthy but ever since the change over i hate searching

New building takes shape

The framework of Essendon’s High Performance Centre is beginning to take shape as construction continues on the club’s new facility near the Melbourne Airport.
New building takes shape

In a troubling development, the construction workers have rebelled and have elected to build their own version of the sydney harbour bridge

If you look very carefully, the crane on the right in that picture bears a striking resemblance to former #46, Christian Bock

Off season news - the word A S S auto-corrects, to arse. Try it!

So you can use a profanity for your anus, but not refer to a donkey.

Does turd still auto-correct? EDIT: No, so they fixed that one at least.

Yep that's the article. I like how when describing the season they put it as we have beaten 3 finalists and lost to 3 of the top 4 by a combined 9 points.

Did anyone hear the SEN inteview from Hird this morning? Anything interesting?

rate from 1-3 from likeliness of going essendon and preference
Goddard
Caddy
moloney
Toy?
Don't think we will get any of them (because lets face it, we're not a club that gets anything done at the trade table)
but order of preference:

Goddard - 2 reasons. 1) An unpopular opinion but we need quality defenders over midfielders atm. We just need our mids to stay fit. 2) Same age as Jobe so he fits our 'window'
Caddy - Despite my previous point. If we could snag one of the comps highest potential in-and-under mids. **** yeah.
Toy - Gamble, could be anything and could be a relatively cheap acquisition. We also avoid the couple year lag it takes rookies to adjust to top flight.
Moloney - Could be a moneyball player for someone, I just hope we don't pay more then a pack of chips to get him.
