I'd be interested to hear thoughts about the similarities between the disappearances of Bung Siriboon in 2011 and Rista Chathavixay in 2009... The points raised by the person that started this thread are not only thought provoking, they are logical.

they showed the CSK again last night on an old episode of Australian CI. That was made 7 years ago and seemed so promising :(

I have been following this case for the last few years (as an interested, sympathetic, and concerned female member of the public).

It is my belief based on the actual evidence collected over all viable sources that the mystery person responsible for the Claremont Murders is also responsible for several other missing female cases as well, all around the general WA area in the years preceding and after the Claremont cases.
All arrows point at actual persons not ruled out from the extensive investigations, (the Mystery Man in the CCTV footage, and those other dodgy characters lacking alibis).
One also has to consider the illegal Taxi drivers suggested at in the Crime Investigation video, it stated that 1800 Taxi drivers and 800 taxis were investigated at the time, but the amount of Taxi drivers amounted to more than that, and did that include dodgy/illegal cabs?
You have to ask just how many of these dodgy/illegally operating taxi cabs were tailed/investigated/followed up on?

I know myself as a female, that if I was wandering home from a nightclub/pub in the early hours of the morning, (and I wouldn't ever be at any rate) I would be looking for a cab straight away, or phoning a family member or a friend that was likely ready to come pick me up.
When you look at Sarah Spiers disappearance, she phoned a cab and then simply vanished.
There were 3 guys cruising in a car that said they saw her standing on the road near the phone box, how deeply were these guys investigated as to alibi's, whereabouts, searches, etc? And I mean REALLY DEEPLY!!!
I mean no offense to any of these guys at all, but you cannot rule them out immediately just because their story sounded plausible and their alibis seemingly added up at that time.
You would only have to read how many times actual serial killers and murderers have initially evaded arrest/capture even after being strongly interviewed by Police/Detectives, usually playing the good Samaritan to start with, offering up bull stories that 'help' the investigations, meanwhile smugly laughing at the Police and playing it all like the game they believe it all to be.
Then there is the Taxi driver that was dispatched to Sarah Spiers call? What of him? How deeply/thoroughly was he investigated?
Could there have been an illegal Taxi cab watching her place her call, and guess she was hailing a Taxi? Then cruising over and pretending to 'have been just down the road at another job that was cancelled?'
Sorry guys, but that seems the most likely and logical answer to the mystery of this very old crime.
The theory that the Claremont Murderer knew all these girls and got them into his car on trust? Nah, doesn't fit at all, too coincidental and too risky for a Murderer, (isn't this guy supposed to be pretty smart and organised?).
No matter how smart this guy is, he isn't stupid enough to go around killing girls he knew, too dangerous and traceable, what if one of them escaped his clutches and got away?
I've gotta stick to the dodgy Taxi driver, or someone else with access to various vehicles, (sorry).

See more in my next post peoples!!

More on my previous post peoples...
As I was saying, I believed it had to have been someone with access to other vehicles, (less suspicious using different ones with fake plates mounted).

Take for example Donald Morey and his connection to missing Sarah McMahon, (she worked in Claremont and went missing on the 8th November 2000). Morey was said to have known Sarah McMahon for some time prior to her disappearance. He was then 45, and she was in her 20's, and by her friends/family's accounts, his interest in her was 'creepy'. It also seems he was telling his friends Gareth and Marta Allen (owners of the Transport firm in Marangaroo that Donald Morey worked at) that Sarah McMahon was his 'new girl', despite the fact that he had a Defacto partner (called Lynne Bishop) that he lived with at weekends in a home in Chidlow.
On the day Sarah disappeared, Donald Morey was the last person to speak with her via mobile telephone, some ten minutes before she disappeared for ever. Under cross examination, Morey insisted that he never saw Miss McMahon at all that day, (allegedly he was at work fuelling, oiling, and washing vehicles) yet when Police pulled cell tower records from Telstra, both Morey and McMahons phones crossed over each other in the exact same location at the time she disappeared. The Police also investigated fuel cards from Morey's place of employment, and it was discovered that no fuel card purchases were made by Donald Morey on that day at all. Morey insisted his alibi was true, and told several more lies as if to support it.
Still, he was not charged with her disappearance.
Some time around this last investigation by the State Coroner for WA, (in 2012) several of the uncooperative former witnesses were ordered to appear on the stand in relation to Miss Sarah McMahon's disappearance and possible homicide.
One former witness (a former Prostitute) who had recanted her testimony several times, spoke of being called to Gareth and Marta Allen's home on Wednesday evening, the 8th November 2000, (the day Sarah McMahon disappeared forever). She spoke of being called over to 'clean up' and observed what she thought was a dead body on Morey's bed, she believed this to have been Sarah McMahon, and was said to have been told by Gareth Allen that 'Morey's gone and killed that young McMahon girl'. She said that Miss McMahon had a rope around her like she had been tied up, and was stained with blood, and was carried out in a quilt over Donald Morey's shoulder and put into the back of his 'white ute'.
Her initial testimony was recorded by Police several years prior, and back then it was noted she had sought alarm duress protection with the Police because she was being threatened by Gareth Allen, Morey's friend and then Employer.
Gareth Allen took the stand and said everything this witness (Tgave as evidence was just a 'beautiful story' but wasn't true.

Not sure I'd be using the word 'beautiful' to describe the witness's 'story', hardly beautiful subject matter is it?
At any rate, further to this macabre story, Gareth Allen's wife Marta came forward some time after Sarah McMahons disappearance, to state that she had found a black bag at her and Gareth's home, that belonged to Donald Morey. At that time, Donald Morey was not staying in their house, he was in hospital suffering from 'chest pains'.
Upon discovery of the bag and its contents, (reportedly knives, several lengths of thin rope, gaffer tape and extreme SNUFF porn (porn depicting women tied up that looked to be dead and bloodied, but engaged in sexual acts with men), Mrs Marta Allen announced to her husband Gareth that she 'had to take this bag and show it to the Police'. Her husband Gareth is said to have told her to 'do what she felt she had to do'. However, within days or hours, (at any rate before the Police finally showed up to follow up her findings) Mr Donald Morey's (then De-facto) partner, Lynne Bishop arrived at the Allen couple's house and took the bag in question away.
Under follow up questions from the Police about what Lynne Bishop did with Donald Morey's work bag of horrors, she is said to have passed it on to some unknown male, who then passed it on to some other unknown male and so on and so on, (its sickening actually). I have to wonder, did the Police actually undertake a full search of Donald Morey's De-facto partner's home? If not, I wonder why??
Interesting that she just showed up at that convenient time to remove it, once the Police had been called, what a coincidence huh?

Must have been something in that workbag that Donald Morey urgently needed from his hospital bed hmmm???
Also interesting that she knew to turn up and retrieve it just before the Police arrived to lay claim to it's gruesome contents, my bet of course is that Gareth Allen rang Donald Morey's partner Lynne Bishop, and told her to come get the bag immediately because his wife had rung the Coppers about it, which would mean that both Gareth, and Donald Morey would be charged with the disappearance/murder of Sarah McMahon, in light of the contents of that bag, and the previous statements (retracted under threats from Gareth Allen) by the Witness (and former Prostitute and friend) Tracy Kendrick.
When you read Gareth Allen's wife Marta's statements about her association/friendship with Donald Morey, she spoke of him telling her he had been in the SAS and 'had killed before', he even stated he would kill his own friend Gareth, (her husband) after hearing a particularly nasty argument between Gareth and Marta.
He also liked to scare her with his stories, and on one occasion told her when alone with him in his vehicle, 'its just you and I now, are you scared?'
It is obvious from her accounts that she definitely knew he was capable of murder, and found him alarming, creepy and scary.
In the years after Sarah McMahon disappeared, it would seem that Donald Morey was still seeking the company of other women besides his Partner Lynne Bishop, namely Prostitutes.

Yes, Mr Morey liked Prostitutes, but not in the way that other men liked them.
Sometime around 2001-2003, (not long after Sarah McMahon disappeared) a local Prostitute was murdered and her body thrown in the Canning Dam, Mr Donald Morey became a big Suspect in relation to this homicide but not enough evidence was ever presented to fully convict him with her death.
Unfortunately for Mr Donald Morey, it would seem he got a little too cocky and a little too careless when he later struck again in 2003 or 2004.
This time when he picked up a local Prostitute and took her to his favourite secluded spot to murder her, she fought back wildly, and actually got away from him, despite suffering bad injuries from his attack/attempted murder. This time, her evidence got him caught and convicted beyond reasonable doubt, and he received 13 years in prison for her attempted murder, the last of which he should still be serving if the creep is still alive.
Mr Morey still insisted under cross examination by the State Coroner in 2012 (in a last investigation as to the disappearance/homicide of Sarah McMahon) that Ms McMahon was alive and well and living in Canada or some other undisclosed location, ('to protect her life' pffft). He also stated that she had 2 children and he himself was in regular contact with her via his own phone.
All evidence presented pointed to his testimony being a huge lie, with absolutely no proof to back up his ridiculous insistent claims that she is still alive.
Perhaps it is a fantasy world he permanently resides in about Sarah being alive, simply because he can't quite forgive himself for killing this one.

The disappearance of Bung is scarily similar to Karmein Chan, although Karmein's body was found a year later. Could Bung be another Mr Cruel victim?
Interesting theory. Possible.

Of course you always hear Mr Cruel stopped because the cops basically had him nailed, just couldn't get the evidence. And he knew it.

Some stories say he emigrated to Asia after that. Not sure.

I would really hope that isnt the case.. Sneaking back in under the radar and committing another crime, learning from past mistakes. The scary thing is that both Bung and Karmen were 13 at the time of their abductions, both of Asian background and very similar in body shapes. Not to mention Templestowe and Baronia are both within a reasonable distance in terms of hunting grounds and as the crow flies.

I hate to say it, but the Bung Siriboon case has Mr Cruel written all over it

The police have said it was unlikely Mr Cruel took Bung, but they haven't ruled it out I don't think.

20 years is a big gap, and Mr Cruel was a home invader rather than grabbing girls off the street. Still its possible, whichever way you look at it it's scary that Bung's abductor is probably still out there, and there's no reason he won't do it again.

The car was reportedly being driven by a fair-skinned man in his late 50s to early 60s, who was wearing a blue singlet.

Mr Cruel died in 2013, but topped himself in prison in 2013

So if Robert Keith Knight was Mr Cruel dead at the age of 62, the murder of Karmen Chan and Bung isnt entirely out of the question

Channel 7 next Sunday are showing a story on the Claremont serial killer. Should be interesting.
New article on the Claremont serial killer. I'd never read about the junior police officer who went to the media.

http://www.news.com.au/national/cri...nt-serial-killer/story-fns0kb1g-1227370836343

Very early on they suspected a junior police officer who surfaced during a decoy operation. He later went to the media purporting his innocence.

The macro taskforce also honed in on a 42-year-old public servant who lived in the nearby suburb of Cottesloe. He was subject to round the clock surveillance but he was never charged.

It says in that article that they have ruled Knight out in the Bung case, he may well have been Mr Cruel though.

why don't you piss off back to the RiotAct where you are regularly put in your place for the absolute nonsense you spout?

You are not 'that' relative, you are a very poor troll who desperately seeks attention in the online world.
i stumbled across some info re Kathryn Grosvenor, I'm curious to tie a few things together, does anybody know which mt erin school she went to and also which primary school, plus whether glenn and Kerrie are her blood parents as her 'brothers' adam and Mathew, please, thank you

They do. There's also serial killers who get caught for some but cops can't prove others.

I know British cops suspect Peter Tobin of killing up to 60 - 70 young women. I think he's been sentenced for four at most. Never ever getting out, but the cops would like to give families "closure" but can't due to lack of resources.

You can scratch one of your list:
2002 Canberra ACT 23 Kathryn Grosvenor Anglo
My understanding is police know who did it (friend/relative) but do not have sufficient evidence.
