Murdered Australia day weekend like Spiers? The mad republican?

Deborah Michelle Anderson found murdered in Dance Drive, Middle Swan WA on the 24th day of January 2000 - her case still sadly unsolved.

Coincidently Dance drive is named after the original "Title holders" in this area. The Dance family. Later Corryn Rayney is murdered post line dancing.
Obviously on this occasion there was no ocean to drive a car in, so setting Andersons car on fire was the only way if destroying evidence after driving to Geraldton and back. Why would someone drive to Geraldton and back? Is that where Anderson was taken?

Crazy psychopath people, or just coincidence?
Crazy psychopath people indeed.

Sidere mens eadem mutato.

Some crazy people have little accountability for their working (and sleeping) hours I'm guessing.

Insomnia must be an occupational hazard for some. Must be hell on relationships.

When is the next court appearance date again?

Just a reminder.

http://www.watoday.com.au/wa-news/i...s-after-claremont-arrest-20170126-gtz69a.html

""We have a number of unsolved serious crimes, homicides and other offences that have occurred over the last 20 to 30 years that we are dedicated to doing our best on here in 2017 and beyond, to either to resolve them or at least convince ourselves that there's nothing more that can be done.

"With the advances of technology and technique over the last 20 years, particularly in the form of DNA and other sciences... we've applied modern day technology and technique to old cases and we're getting some results.

It's not over yet."

Indeed.

Pretty much sums up the procedure taken via kimono to find the current accused. Been happening all around Australia. People found by family on criminal database.
Police have re run DNA technique in a full audit of evidence rooms. As time passes, the criminal database will build leading to other charges, lead by previous criminal convictions. Family members with past criminal history, leading to conviction of their future family members via familial detection.

Exponential conviction. The more they convict, the more they convict.

Probably coincidence - Missing:Sarah Spiers in 1996

Brad Spiers (Sarahs uncle) said he purchased the land, which was then zoned as rural, in North Yunderup for $270,000 with his brother Bob in 1996 because he wanted to use the property as part of his earth-moving business.

He was outraged when told by the shire that the then-Labor government had rezoned a huge chunk of his land as public open space in between his purchase and application. In 2005, a development-prohibiting reservation was placed over all of his property.

Mr Spiers was told recently by WA Planning Commission (WAPC) valuers if there was no reservation over the land it would be worth more than $1 million. But with the reservation hanging over his property it is virtually worthless because he is prohibited from developing the land.

1996: Geoff Gallop becomes Labor Leader.

Coincidentally, the Glennons were very good friends with Richard Court, Liberal leader.

At the time of Pamela Lawrence murder, Richard Court had her jewellery in his possession as a gift for overseas delegates. (p17)

Did Pamela Lawrence see too much of this heroin ring?

A group of heroin users that hung around with a Fremantle tatooist were know to operate in the area. (p16)

Train surveilance showed bandanna wearing man with two Aboriginal males. The drug squad advised the team that a known junkie down the road was obtaining heroin from a man convicted of murdering a woman.

When police had a news press conference at Pippidinny. One of the high echelon police officers said on news TV at the scene, "This guy wants to be caught".

This implies to me, that there was some form of clue left by the culprit. There must be footage of this somewhere. #ClaremontSerialKiller

It could also be Police talk for '' lets try and spook the guy into revealing himself''

I wouldnt take too much notice of a comment like that

The cop was wrong. If the guy wanted to be caught he'd have been caught way back then.

I agree, but it was essentially the only statement he made. But being at the time of the Ciara's discovery, how would spooking someone they don't know who it was reveal anything? The police would have to have an idea of who it was?

The cop was wrong. If the guy wanted to be caught he'd have been caught way back then.
Yeah, but maybe the cop saying "this guy wants to be caught" was saying that there were clues to the culprits identity, or clues connecting the crime.

We will see in trial I guess. But maybe you are right.

There will be footage. The footage is not very long, and it was at Pippidinny..

Once again I dont think it was anything but a comment designed to draw a response

Doesnt matter if they knew who it was or not. There could have been a letter sent '' nah you dont know what I know'' etc. Then the police work starts. A lot of police work is psychological ie good cop bad cop. The talk on the way to the station when you dont feel as if you are in an interview situation. Being kept waiting in cells for hours letting your own imagination take hold. Outright lies of evidence they dont have etc.

I don't think the Claremont perp wanted to be caught. I do believe the Claremont perp was doing something to taunt police.

We'll have to wait and see what info comes out of the trial. I'm not dismissing what either of you are saying.

We are talking about a perp that abducted victims out of the same location on multiple occasions. Not scared easily by the sounds of it. That's pretty daring, almost like someone knew what was going on.

I put this down to some form of information at the crime scene that indicates that it is the same perp. Whether that is physical forensic evidence, or other Im not sure. He may have been taunting police. We shall find out soon.

I notice a couple of people have gone missing. WA police are currently tracking down a few people. Might be a couple of forum users go missing.

The perp may have been receiving information inadvertently from the police force or listening into phone lines. We know phone tapping is a very possibility with access to the Telecom infrastructure and the skillsets.

Maybe someone did share a cab with Sarah Spiers the night before to the Windsor Hotel, the night before as Steve Ross cab rider said. Maybe he was heading that way. No doubt Steve Ross would have a description and be a possible witness.

The murder of Sharon Mason - found at Mosman Park - was that 1983?

Another vile cowardly act.

But before DNA was even considered for criminal forensics.

Can anyone recall what evidence was found?

Glad that lab stocktake and audit was done

:clapping:

Timing is priceless.

The concept someone shared a lift with Sarah Spiers, pushing her out the cab the night before at The Windsor Hotel. As stated by Steve Ross.

Sorry - I'm getting bewildered here with all these oddly connected names flying around. Long day.

So there is Steve Ross - the SS cab driver. Mill Point Road.

Then there is Gerard Ross - 12 year old boy senselessly killed mentioned elsewhere here.

Low dog act.

Are they connected in any way through a "Ross" relation?

Was this investigated?

PS: love the map!

Gerard went from Kent street.

There was a prostitute boat sunk direct west of Jane called the Saville-Kent. Doubt its connected but worth noting. (West - 13.5km exactly)

Kent St is mmm Curtain UNI is on Kent street. (See above map)

There is the Ross of Mull, Iona.
"The Ross of Mull is much more than just the route to Iona. This great peninsula may be low lying but it is extremely rugged. The coastline is superb, with perfect sandy beaches, rocky coves and dramatic cliffs."

"In English the meaning of the name Gerard is: Hard or bold spear." + "Gaelic ros meaning "promontory, headland"

The original owner of Mosman Park Iona land was a guy named Butler. Probably nothing.

Who knows what may go through a crazy psychopaths head if they are in a fit of rage? Look at the Zodiac killer. He would taunt police with all manner of cryptic message.

Being signed up to a website that sold vehicle tracking software meant it was possible the family stalked. Did Gerards father have a mobile phone?

If someone was sending a message to police, they may have targeted streets. There was always a speculation of the UBD street directory or similar, hence part the reason taxi drivers targeted.

Thats a bit freaky. lol

Constance Emily Kent (6 February 1844 – 10 April 1944) was an English woman who confessed to a notorious child murder that took place when she was 16 years old. The Constance Kent case in 1865 raised a series of questions about priest–penitent privilege in England. In later life Kent changed her name to Ruth Emilie Kaye.
She was born in Sidmouth, Devon in 1844, the daughter of Mary Ann Kent (1808–1852) and Samuel Saville Kent (1801–1872), an Inspector of Factories for the Home Office.[1]

"In July 2007, the 34.14 metre timber cabin cruiser W. Saville-Kent sunk in Mangles Bay, near Garden Island navy base,"
""The story was that about 10 years ago it was parked up in the Swan River, off East Fremantle, and used as a brothel," he said." - 1997

On the day the schoolboy disappeared, Gerard and his brother Malcolm had left their holiday home on Kent Street around 9.30am on October 14, 1997, with the intention of visiting a comic store in central Rockingham some 800 metres away.
Gerard’s brother, who was on roller blades, skated ahead and had agreed to meet his brother at the store. Shortly after passing the vicinity of 99 Kent Street, Gerard went missing.
His body was located in a pine plantation near Baldivis and Stakehill Roads, Karnup, on October 28, 1997. This location is about 20km south east of Rockingham.

All very interesting points.

Zodiac taunting police with those cryptic clues.

The English meaning of Gerard is spear.

The suburb of Spearwood is not far from the abduction site, isn't it?

"May the roof above us never fall in, and may we friends beneath it never fall out."

Ha ha ha

The jokes about to be on you.
