How hard are all the people outside of Australia, or Melbourne, suffering knowing that we are actually playing finals. Great to be in the finals of course, but wish I could be there to see it all happening live, rather than a shoddy TV coverage!

Likewise, but still a pretty big crew get together in Hongkers to watch the games. Bulldogs in LKF if anyone is going to be over our way in the next couple of weeks.

Go North!

I hear you OM. I had plans earlier in June July this year to toddle on down to Melbourne for Arch's alledged last game but the air fares were super expensive even way back then so i decided to go to the Syd Barker, all paid and booked.:thumbsu:

Now, oi !!!! wish i was there on Sunday. I was talking to a friend in townsville today who is a full on NRL Cowboys fan who was getting fired up already on "what and where are we watching both AFl and NRL GF's" I told her that if by some magical moment the Roos were going to be there, i could not bear to be here and not in Melbourne so stuff the expense I will be there and there was no way she would like to be sitting next to me in a public venue watching the Roos in a GF.

Worse for you in Japan - long way to fly for a footy match. Hope you have great access to watch the games.

GO ROOS.

Ah watching on the box instead of roaring in the stands with the faithful is the way it has to be this week.

The positive karma for our beloved North Melbourne will be wafting from London, Oska, US of A, Townsville & Brisbane to name but a few.

Barrack hard non Melbournites for we are in for one almighty victory.

Well, I had access to a terrible game. Had a mate come around for the last half, but it was all over by then and I wasnt too interested in watching us capitulate further!!

Hope they do better next week.... and the next 3 weeks actually...

i flicked over to the Storm game and kept going back to 7 to see if things were going to "improve" -nah!! received some irate texts from friends at the MCG - one half way thru the 3rd qtr was "i want to go home NOW".

oH WELL always next weekend, which realistically, probably be Arch's last game.

No no, two more after that.

Go Roos!

Watched the Geelong game live in Amsterdam last week (yay for Setanta TV).

Had a blind drunk impromptu game of kick to kick (using a grid iron ball) on the streets of Harlem at 3am a few days ago with a Carlton supporting mate of mine. The locals must have thought we were too crazy to bother mugging.

Will miss the Hawthorn game (just). Spewing, as I was hoping for a Sunday final, as I'll be on a flight back home from Los Angeles. Won't get into Melbourne until 8am Sunday. But I have my fingers crossed I'll be able to pick up ABC radio mid flight. Otherwise - I'll have to try and get internet access & score updates via the Blackberry.

I have been relying on Audio broadcasts then torrents a few days later, this week some very kind person got one loaded within 3 or so hours so I was watching less than 24 hours (by the time I downloaded and converted) later.

I tired to get dish for setanta but have no clear view of the southern sky. It is frustrating, but it is what it is.

Watched Geelong debacle on delay at pub here in Copenhagen. Was in Belgium last weekend so got result via texts and calls from mates at the game. Still waiting to here when pub will show this week's game. If we win I'm flying home...

Gunna watch from home tomorrow, at the pub last week they tried to cut the game off at half time to watch the all blacks beat a pacific island nation 1000000 to 0!
