Missing Michael

Oh how we are missing Clem Michael.He is the player who gives the smaller men,Haselby,Bell,Fletcherand Cook the protection they need.He is the physical presence of the Dockers.His second and third efforts at the ball are second to none.I have no doubt we would not be zip six if he had been playing.He and Longmuir will give us a ruck division second to none.Like Worsfold at the Eagles he makes small men play tall.

On top of that we simply dont win without micheal in the team.
Longmuir will be a star but he is still young and simply cant cradle all the ruck work on his own.

Micheal is almost unbeatable at stationary contensts.

But as much as we miss micheal i think we miss waterhouse more.
He is not only a target but an inspiration to the rest of the players.
We need him there to take the pressure off Pavlich.
Plus he was our leading goal kicker last year.

They say freo is a poor team.
But i would luv to see how the other clubs would go if they lost there number one ruckman and forward.

I wouldnt be surprised if when both those players return along with koops we win a long string of games.To prove to the knockers that there is quality at the club.

We certainly miss Camel{Clive} but Koops I'm still not sure on.He is like a lot of others we have had very injury prone and I don't believe he does enough when he is fit and in the side.Could be very very good but needs to do more to really win me over.
JL certainly has come along in leaps and bounds,he and Clemmie together wow.

Well...in 1999, Primus played 2 games, Lockwood played 6 (our no 1 ruckmen and main forward at the time) and we made the finals. Not to mention we traded Cummings and Heuskes. It can be done. Adelaide won 1 of their premierships without Rehn for the year, and the other without Modra for the year. It can be done. Fremantle do not have the depth of options that other clubs have now or in the past. Like if Modra or Waterhouse goes down who is there to bring in?? Not an experienced player but Schell who has played about 4 games of AFL football. (this isnt anti freo...this is the truth)
Missing 2 players isnt a big deal. Looking in the paper today Fremantle are without 3 or 4 players that would make the 1st side. West Coast is without 12 players who i would put in their first side. Just be thankful you dont have a massive injury list. (again the truth, and not anti freo)
