Well after taxes there will be about 202 million usd---101 apiece

Somehow I figure you can make that work--even if you get yourself a new pond or two.
Jesus, not as profitable as I was hoping.

Why do you guys spend so much energy on people who don't post anymore?

Who cares
I find it funny that you post this Sanders.

Then proceed to 'like' nearly a dozen posts throughout the 8 page thread. All of which were jibes directed at BACCS.

Classic Sanders.

amazing your razor sharp forensics skills didn't pick up that this is a 4 year old thread. And by amazing I mean hardly surprising at all :D

But good to see you've come out of hiding after your last effort

Lottery winnings are taxed in US??!!

Yes..will work like this. If you take the lump sum option of 700 million it is roughly 443 million. Federal and state taxes will eat that by about 40-45% depending on state you live in. I always just figure it to be 50%---so if there is one winner they are looking at around 222-230 million after taxes.

I think I could survive. ;)

Also, we will have some amazingly awesome pre and post game parties in September.

Lottery winnings aren't taxed in Aus.

It is considered personal income here
Only needs to be declared here if the lottery is run by a bank, credit union or other similar DTI. Normal lotteries are tax free. Usually our lotteries are small compared to US though. Don't often get over 50m let alone 100m.

In the unlikely event I won (I took 5 chances for $10 usd just to say I played) my rear end would be at law office that specialized in estate planning and trusts. In Ohio, you do not have to step forward to claim the prize--I would have the trust claim it.

In a pot this type size the less public you are the better in the long run.

I also would be booking my accommodations and flights to the Qualifying Final!
