Think some West Coast fans need to take the rose coloured glasses off.

Conversation is simple 'browny, we have one spot left on the list, if we don't get a player who fits our needs more than you during trade period you get the contract, but have a sniff around in Melbourne in the meantime'
He got offered a contract, ummed and ahhed
For a while and then went overseas on holiday.
No one to blame, he could've signed the contract straight away but gambled and lost.

Kind of surprising West Coast even offered him a contract.
We offered him a contract to fall back on if a Melbourne club never picked him up in the trade period ...low and behold a guy by the name of Sam Mitchell wished to move West .....WCE were being very accommodating to M Brown in the first instance but that evaporated quickly with the Mitchell signing .

Mitch never got picked up in the trade or draft period .

Mitch wanted to go home as his preference things didn't work out 100% .
