If you don't understand why it is an equivalent comparison then yeah. Ciao
Enjoy your spaghetti
The equivalent comparison would be asking women if they feel safe showering with lesbians. To which they’d probably say, who gives a ****, they’re not going to try and hit on me.

Bodies are bodies. I’ve been in that many saunas (we’re talking Swiss/german ones - so no clothes) with of all ages and genders. If I found out the person next to me was gay, what about it? What should I expect them to do? Try and touch me?

Perhaps we could also say that suicide is a strictly personal issue, as it only affects those closely involved, not the wider community. Pretty easy to dismiss something if you’ve got no horse in the race. No one in my family has committed suicide so I don’t care. However, all through school and even in recent times two of my mates, who are both gay, get vilified and treated as different from blokes like you.

Give it a rest.

"We need men's mental health round!"
"Yeah good idea, my mental health is actually pretty bad at the moment. I'm struggling with my sexuality because I love football but there is a chronic homophobic culture and no representation for me so I'm not sure I want to participate"
"No not that kind of mental health!! Get that shit out of football! I don't want to hear about social issues I just want to see good footy!!"

Not to get into the back and forth, and i'm sorry for anyone that has been impacted by loss for any reason.

But, the AFL does do a lot of things around mental health as well! Spuds game is a massive thing that includes a range of events such as Spuds ride and while St Kilda focused, is widely promoted by the AFL.

Yes, the AFL can't drive social change on everything, but they certainly make a decent effort for those things that impact (or an issue in) on the Aussie Rules community and society at large

As a straight white male (possibly the whitest person in WA no less) I just want to say that Smotie has absolutely nailed me there.

None of my posts are about having the most minor level of respect for your fellow humans, they’re all just performative from me because I find straight white males disgusting.

Think this one needs a day to cool off.
