Mitch Brown's wife was formally announced as a signing for Collingwood's netball team yesterday. Seems obvious that Brown will also be relocating, anyone know which Victorian club he will sign with?
Same team maybe goal attack

Why would anyone now trade for player that they could have got for free? He was an unrestricted free agent, declared that he want to return home, no one took a punt, free agency ended. No one wants him

The only reason would be to protect compo.

As an example - if Freo wanted him - they wouldn't sign him under FA as that could affect their FA compo for Mayne.

Clubs might be treating Mitch as their fallback plan. See what else comes out in the wash - and if nothing, get him for a token not to be used late pick or as a delisted free agent. The free agency period for him was a little moot - as he will be free regardless to any suitor. WC won't be haggling for anything under 100.

good answer, that leaves North and Richmond as the only real suitors before he becomes as DFA but I don't see either of them happening.

Intrigued to see how it plays out. Before Nathan signed with the Saints over the weekend I'd thought he would be a part of St. Kilda back line, now with Collingwood losing N. Brown, Frost and Marsh he may join his wife at Collingwood.
