I thought his manger said he wants to stay on but the club wouldn't talk a new contract until after the trade period? Could be wrong though.

The silence around Clark is deafening.
I'm sure he does want to stay on. Can't blame him.
That doesn't auger well for our chances. That Hawkins is anticipating 2 defenders spending time in the F50 during 2017 without speaking of Clark at all screams 'gone'.

You mean the same structure we struggled with this year?Nope. It suggests an ad hoc structure and strategy.
If Clark is gone, I'd get Stanley running all over the F50, and ask Gregson, McCarthy, Menzel and Mots to drop in and around he and Hawkins.
Get Dangerwood and Cocky firing it forward and all of a sudden we look quicker, more unpredictable and lethal.

Fruitless if our delivery is once again poor. We need good ball users first and foremost.
He needs to remain at Geelong.
Put him on a 1 year base contract, got nothing to lose really now with vardy and kersten gone. That is of course if the playing group haven't disowned as has been rumoured. No other club will touch him
Unless there is more than meets the eye here we really have no choice. At the very least he'd be cheap backup. He needs to remain at Geelong.

We're simply lacking in support for Hawkins and can't win a premiership without it. Teams are double and triple teaming Hawkins knowing we have no other viable option to relieve pressure. To ask the obvious, why?

With both Vardy and Kersten out the door our depth is also tested.
Agree about lacking support. But they should have thought about that before recruiting someone so unreliable. If Hawkins has just mentioned Taylor and Henderson as forward options, it's extremely unlikely that Clark will be around.

I really hope not we need players that will playHe needs to remain at Geelong.
Well his manager says he's got 2-3 years left of good footy. Cats better sign him up to a 3 year deal.
His manager is going to keep saying that as long as Clark can help line his pocketsLove it when the manager says, look in a bit biased, but he's got ... Years left in him.
Yeah sure mate
