Mitch Clark Return..

If he comes back and Hogan turns out as good as they reckon Melbourne won't be half bad. Turnaround has been remarkable and the best story in the AFL so far this year for mind.

Isn't he delisted/retired already? I thought he'd have to go through the draft again?

It would take a minor miracle of Krakouer proportions for him to get on any AFL list again let alone us. There's far, far more chance of West Coast winning this year's flag than him every wearing a Freo jumper lol.

Yeah, but let's discuss it on our board anyway.

There are far more irrelevant things discussed on our board, you should pay more attention topic cop

Maybe within a thread, as they go off on a tangent, but not as a stand alone thread.

But hey, have a swing.

Knock yourself out, this seems important to you.

If he has stayed in Melbourne during his recovery then I don't think there is any chance that he would be coming West. The presumption was his illness was in some way related to being away from family in WA and he might come back, recover then get picked up for cheap after a year in the WAFL. However, it sounds like Melbourne over WA had little to do with his issues.

We're a professional club, so we'll be odds on to take them all.

Lock it in Eddy.
Robert Eddy? Sure why not, we'll take him too.

I see Clark's left the door open for WCE to take him in the rookie draft to replace Cox. ;)

He's definitely their type.

  • Overhyped WA kid
  • washed up after unsuccessful stints over east
  • bargain bin/last chance saloon
  • thicker than the brick lodged in the back of slicedndiced's head

What issues? I don't buy it at all. He probably realised he stuffed up going to Melbourne despite the massive contract when just before that he was crying homesick in Brisbane demanding to be traded to a WA club. Sure, it was unfortunate for him to cop all the injuries but **** me, he arrived there when Neeld was a coach. That's when reality set in for him.

Either way, Bondy put the double line through his name, you can bank on that. There's no way he'll be playing for Freo while Bond is a list manager.
So yeah, this tread doesn't really belong here on Freo board.

Must be the wrong time of the month in here. Dont see why people are getting hissy over sliced's comments.

Did LOL at the email clearance idea though. It would trim down quite a bit of tripe.

Looks like he may have turned a bit of a corner. Good for him, I hope his recovery continues.

End of thread.

Yeah, no. Rather develop what we have in Taberner, A.Pearce, and Apeness, as well as get Gumbleton up and about.

A guy with a history of foot injuries and depression enters the draft naming a prefered club is certainly going to get to that club. No questions.

I don't mind the thread in here. His story is one of the curiosities of life as a Dockers fan. Don't want him though. He is still in Melbourne, gone to seed, will still need the big bucks, has too many injuries and issues.

Whats this "we" Shiiite??
I think you mean "I"

No, I mean WE.

Plenty of supporters here can't stand the guy for what he did to us.

And I would have a very large wager that the club feels the same.

He took a very sizable dump from a great height all over us.

I wish him well in his recovery, but there is no way in hell that he will ever wear purple.
