Yeah, or even simpler... we could have drafted Tippett at 22 instead of bloody Albert Proud.
Don't start going down that path, you'll get depressed. Every club has had their dudds, it's a reminder of how the draft is always a lottery.

I can only gather if the deal has been agreed on then we may be involved in an extension of the deal that involves Lisle for Brisbane and whoever else we may be chasing. Either that or we are just posturing.

that makes the most sense to me. I just can't see Bond locking us out of the first round regardless of how good the player in question is. If he's offered 16 (which reportedly he has) that's about as good as it's going to get for Bris.
The best I would offer beyond pick 16 alone, would be pick 16 + Pick 38 for Clark and Pick 52.
That would leave Freo with picks 20, 52, 56, 74. No way known that freo would pull themselves out of the first round completely. Voss is dreaming if he thinks he should get two first rounders for Clark regardless of how late they are in the first round. I would then offer pick 52 or pick 56 to Carlton for Paul Bower.
I also reckon that Freo should trade out Keplar Bradley to GWS for their pick 49 and a pre-listed player. With Griffin and Clark, Keplar is the one who could be left out in the WAFL.

It's easy to say we should trade out this or that player, but any player needs to agree to a move. I'm not sure there's many players interested in moving on just to give Clark an opening.

Jordan Lisle to Brisbane is as good as done. They're just deciding which draft pick it'll take. Might take until Monday but will go through.
Wonder if this will be part of a three way trade to get Clarke to Fremantle

All the other garbage that has gone on aside, I really hope Lisle is a good get for you guys. I hate seeing non-Victorian clubs losing players. It's nice to see one going North for a change. Good luck. Love Brissie when they are not playing us.

Being a long term Fitzroy supporter, I have a hatred for most Victorian clubs. I love it when you guys or any other interstate teams for that matter, destroy clubs like Carlton, Collingwood etc on your home turf.
For the first time, in a few days, I actually feel relaxed. I chucked away the angry pills. The "good fight" has been fought by both clubs. They can't keep butting heads.
All the best to you guys, regardless of who gets what picks/players on Monday.
