Yeah sounds about right for mine. Both high draft picks, both showed a lot of promise a few years ago, both haven't set the world on fire since then.

Nah, I meant it more in terms of it effectively being a freebie for us. Without GWS there is no way we'd have gotten pick #20 for Palmer. Being able to then turn that into Clark would be pretty good for us.

Even that may be more than we need to pay though.

Right now that the GWS mini draft has finished lets see who got picks 3 & 4 after GC & Adelaide.

This will now let some dominoes fall & hopefully the clark deal is at the forefront of that.
Our " upgrade " to Pick 20 will surely be part of the plan as there is no way our first rounder will be used .

Pick 20 for Clark would be a steal but I can see how Freo would be selling it.

We got that as a 'fair' deal from AFL for Palmer. Palmer former number 7 with 1 outstanding year... blah blah blah same sort of coin and all that rubbish.

Fremantle is only willing to part with pick 16, their first selection in this year’s national draft.

The Dockers are understood to considering offering the Lions pick number 20 as well after securing the selection from Greater Western Sydney in the Giants dealing with St Kilda for previously AFL club listed players.

This time last year we had already done 3 or 4 trades. Wish we could of been on the money and done the trade the Saints did.
