I dont think other Clubs would stand in the way of Melbourne re-drafting him with a last pick/or rookie pick, if thats what they (and Clark) wanted to do.I believe he can go anywhere as delisted free agent. But not 100% sure
He got a payout when he retired, he wouldn't expect anything like that anyway seeing as how his contract and inability to (in his own mind) to "live up to it" was part of the problem.I dont think other Clubs would stand in the way of Melbourne re-drafting him with a last pick/or rookie pick, if thats what they (and Clark) wanted to do.
Also you would hope Melbourne would pay him something similar to what he was originally contracted in 2015 for.
He is living in Perth.Word is that he is training now. I think fitness stuff. I think living in Melbourne. So I'm hoping Melbourne
When a player is paid out is that money (or potential money) still tied up in the salary cap for the years the contract was set to run to?He got a payout when he retired, he wouldn't expect anything like that anyway seeing as how his contract and inability to (in his own mind) to "live up to it" was part of the problem.
It's a pipedream anyway, he won't make a comeback.
Hopefully he's doing well mentally.

He has gotten a payout and the contract is torn up. Melbourne have already stopped paying him so I don't think the above scenario is possible. If he returns and plays for a different club while getting paid out by melbourne will 2 clubs be paying for him in the one season?

Mitch would find it pretty insulting if we tried. One of the reasons he gave for leaving the clubs was receiving paychecks that he felt weren't justified due to his inability to play. He'd be keen to get a fresh slate, and be wanting to prove his worth. Also you would hope Melbourne would pay him something similar to what he was originally contracted in 2015 for.
As much as I hope he gets back to playing AFL footy, it's a case of badluck from me. Had his chance to play for us and instead took a bigger offer from the Dees.
I'm sure he'll be shattered that 1 of 18 teams that want him are sore he didn't join them ...

How can you be sure that every team wants him? He played 15 games in his first 2 seasons at Melbourne. Great player but he is very Injury prone.I'm sure he'll be shattered that 1 of 18 teams that want him are sore he didn't join them ...
