Brown copped a knee to the face
Barlow copped a Palmer to the leg

They are both impact injuries which is nothing to do with the player being injury prone.

According to someone on the Brisbane board Mayne is on the outer with Lyons as the new coach surely this is not true. He is a good player.
 
My question is who is going to offer a better pick than our compo pick?

Theres no way that Port, Rich, GC or Adel will offer up their 1st rounder for Clark as they know family comes first above all else and even if they get him for a yr then he'll just come home the next yr so no point ruining their future over a slightly above average player like Clark. Port may offer their priority pick but that can only be used this yr so would be worth less than our compo pick.

Sheedy's been on his high horse about us getting rid of Harvey so potentially GWS would offer a higher pick for Clark. However any pick they offer would be worth more than our 1st round pick so if they decide to go that way then we would be out of the bidding anyhow. But it would be a very strange move by Sheedy, completely ridiculous just to send an FU to the Freo football club, it would definitely show that Sheedy no longer has what it takes to manage a football club. And again we would probly get Clark the following yr anyhow.

Final offer is the compo pick and possibly Pearce as a little sweetner I think its an "ok" deal as far as your concerned and I doubt you'd be looking to screw over Clark that much by sending him to another city away from his family. If someone wants to pay more then so be it.

Richmond would if he was ok with playing ruck. GC might offer up pick 4 for Clark and a HBF(they are both positions they need players in) If they cant get Tippet. But I'm sure he will get to freo and Im sure we will get your first rounder and a player.

He isn't Adam Goodes but he is far from injury prone, especially for a young tall.

There aren't many that you can book in for 18+ H & A games per year.
 
Anybody who thinks that Mitch Clark wont draw a 1st round pick needs their heads read !

Specially pick 16 wich is a mid 1st rounder.

Get with the program guys and stop dreaming unless you want to off load a good player pick 16 will go to brisbane.

I think a lot of people agree he is worth pick 16. Depends on whether Bond is prepared to give it. There is a suggestion that he won't. But frankly we don't know what he is thinking. However, if he says he won't give up pick 16 he won't. As far as I know he hasn't definitely said that.
 
Well he either has to give it up or a player that brisbane will be happy with , other wise Clark will be somewhere els or in brisbane

GC will easily give up a good pick and meet his 600k demands
Brisbane would be more than happy to keep him

With the threat of psd off the table because clark will sh!t himself that port will take him ........... he will agree to either stay or be traded to another club

pick 16 will get done, Bond has no choice and Lyon will want him.
He needs to make an assualt on the 8 asap cant wait 4 years for a kid to develope.

Like I say, we don't know what Bondy is thinking. I'm pretty sure 16 and 2 players isn't going to happen though.
 
A lot of wishful thinking going on here by Lions' supporters who are trying to convince us that we will give them everything they want for Mitch Clark. We won't be shafted but hopefully a fair deal can be done.

Also a lot of wishful thinking going on here by Freo supporters who are trying to convince us that we will receive next to nothing for Mitch Clark.

As to the bolded part, amen brother. I truthfully don't believe, either club will be out the shaft the other. Nor should they, karma has a way of finding it's mark WRT trading.

from a lions supporter perspective I think any frustration/argument aimed towards freo supporters stems from the months and months of trash trade idea we got served up from eagle supporters regarding Rich. too be honest it really feels that alot of the same discussions are repeating but with the name Rich changed to clark.

I just cant wait for out 2011 season truely wraps up in trade week and we can just focus on positive draft talk

If anything all the trash trade ideas are coming from your supporters.
You do realise that unlike Rich, Clark has told Brisbane he doesn't want to be there and wants to come home.

But of course according to your supporters Mitch Clark is worth Pick 16+ Zac Clarke
