I'd say after Fyfe and especially if Neale leaves they don't exactly bat deep in the midfield....Why would freo want Duncan lol? They are rebuilding. Focus on Hogan.

Duncan's wife gave birth about a year back, maybe he wants to be back home closer to family. He'd also get more bonafide midfield time at Freo than what he's getting at Geelong ATM.Freo are rebuilding, no way will they trade down from the first round. I call bs.
Also, realistically why would Duncan come to Freo?
All of his mates have moved on over the last few years as well ... Caddy, Smedts, Vardy, Mots..Duncan's wife gave birth about a year back, maybe he wants to be back home closer to family. He'd also get more bonafide midfield time at Freo than what he's getting at Geelong ATM.
Just hope it doesn't end up being a straight swap for Darcy....
Stop this Darcy bs.Duncan's wife gave birth about a year back, maybe he wants to be back home closer to family. He'd also get more bonafide midfield time at Freo than what he's getting at Geelong ATM.

Duncan and Kelly for picks 4 & 5 be around the ball park
If thats the case we can do a late 1st rd for Fyfe. bet you would be crying he's worth 2 1st rd'sDuncan is kinda on the Brad Hill level.
I'd do it for a future second only
Duncan is 27 and we are in the middle of rebuild. If thats the case we can do a late 1st rd for Fyfe. bet you would be crying he's worth 2 1st rd's
So you really think Neale is worth 4 and 22?Duncan is 27 and we are in the middle of rebuild.
We currently have pick 5 (6) and Duncan isn't in the ball park for that pick.
I pretty we won't be making finals next year and therefore, our pick will be a top 10. That's too much for Duncan.
Pick 5 for Duncan and pick 11, is a dumb idea as it smacks of the Hodge trade from far back.
I really don't see how it can be done.
No.So you really think Neale is worth 4 and 22?
To be fair he would be on around 600k, and this thread was started to see a reaction I doubt that Duncan is moving, also doubt Kelly will be moving this year.No.
Just a idea.
Maybe, the Cats are doing a salary cap dumb and use Duncan's money for Lycett.
Then, overall Geelong loses Duncan and gain's a ruck and a second round pick (either Lions 2018 second pick or Freo's 2019 second pick).
I think that would improve your team.
This time of year the media make up a lot of stuff and especially is Freo is involved. To be fair he would be on around 600k, and this thread was started to see a reaction I doubt that Duncan is moving, also doubt Kelly will be moving this year.
I reckon you seriously think that's a realistic offer too.
I think if you are working out the price of Duncan then the precedent has been set by Bryce Gibbs who is worth a bit more but at 28, and a quality midfielder is the closest trade to Duncan in the last few years. Given Gibbs went for about 1750 points, I expect Duncan (27 y.o) to get somewhere in the same ball park.
That's the equivalent to pick 6-10 (noting a single pick is worth more). So something like pick 16 and 28 would be about right though Fremantle doesn't have anything in that range.
If you expect pick 5 for Lachie Neale then pick 6 for Duncan is about right.Says the person who thinks Duncan for pick 5 is a remote chance.
So far this year I'd say Geelong supporters win the award for most overvaluing their players.
There's not enough draft picks in the world to get deals for Kelly and Duncan done.
If you expect pick 5 for Lachie Neale then pick 6 for Duncan is about right.
