Traded Mitch Hannan [Traded to Bulldogs for 2021 R3 pick]

I rate him and would be sad to see him go.
Can’t believe Goodwin rates the likes of anb a head of him. Dogs will have a great pick up.

Certainly no world-beater, but will be nice to have someone with an actual modicum of forward and goal sense in our forward line. Plus he knows our systems relatively well from his VFL days.

So look for Bevo to have him playing in the back pocket Rd 1.

Niche player, but probably the right move and played for the Bulldogs affiliate at VFL in his draft year so probably already has a good relationship with the club.

Talent worth a mid 2nd round but injuries and inconsistent form push him out to not much value.
Honestly it's probably a 4th round pick upgrade or something. He'll be 27 next year, is uncontracted and hasn't been a regular part of the Demons lineup for a couple of years when forwards have been an issue for you.

Yep, pretty much spot on, although he'll provide good service to the doggies.

Disappointing to see him go but he wants to play more and he wasn't getting that with us. Lost his spot due to injury but then Goodwin chose others ahead of him. He doesn't have too much to go with his career so he needs to maximize game time while he can

I've been a Mitch Hannan fan, but he deserved to get dropped this year. He played 9 games, and only twice did he get more than 10 possessions (11 and 13). That's fine if you're kicking goals, but he only kicked 7. He's got all the skill, but just doesn't get involved enough.

We have two thirds this year, including the Adelaide's first pick in the third round.
We need points for this year so perhaps we'll conjure up something involving future picks or a third club.

Those are stats Gary Rohan would be proud of and he's about to play off in a GF!

Yeah, I would imagine it would be a future pick on your side. We have 2 4th round picks this year which could help bump your points up a bit. Something like Hannan and a 2020 4th for a future 3rd.

any Dees fans happy to say what his strengths are? interested to see if he's what we need
He's not necessarily what we need, but he's coming home at least.

Was part of our 2016 VFL premiership side.

He has leg speed and forward smarts. Two things not a single one of our forwards had in the elimination final. We have converts from defence (Naughton) and midfield (Wallis), an unfit Bruce, then a bunch of slow midfielders filling it out.

Hannan is no star, but he'd find a spot in our forward line instantly thanks to offering traits none of our guys have
