Played pretty well for Claremont yesterday. One of their best players and kicked 3 goals. He might not get a game this week because he played on monday and they probably won't throw him in the deep end against the Dockers but its only a matter of time before he is wearing the blue and gold.

With Cousins unlikely, he may very well play this week actually. I'd say Selwood's ahead of him in the queue, but if the latter's ankle doesn't come up, Mitch may get a go.

If Cousins and Selwood don't play I'd rather Wooden or Adkins than Morton right now. I'm happy he's doing well but still I'd like the season to be in full swing before we introduce an inexperienced kid.

:) WOW this is exciting news. I hope he does get a game, Im biased yes but hey if he's doing well in the WAFL and theirs a position to be filled in the Eagles team...why not?

Im crossing my fingers!

I would think if he's been playing with Claremont he already has been wearing the blue and gold ;)

green was bog for easts in a loosing side.
well in that case, my EFH sponsored player Humm was among the best for EP in a losing side. :D Tried hard, no support. D-Mac put in a decent effort.

Morton was pretty good. I thought Wilkes and Jones did alright for Claremont too; got some handy touches.

However my heart is with Selwood, so hope he's fit to play this week... Funny how I've barely heard anything on him? Anyone got an update on this injury?

if selwood is fit then he is next in line.

i cant see us risking mitch against the cats. i think the game against the doggies 3 weeks away is more likely.

my pick would be wooden. he can be used to combat one of the many cat smalls. i prefer his defensive ability to the attacking run of an adkins or jones.

Yeah ive been thinking the same thing about Wooden since sunday. I think its a big possibility.

What about R.Jones. Had a decent game on the wknd (ive heard, didnt see it).

as much as I'd love to say 'Play Chipper!!!" I didn't think much of his game for Perth(admittedly in a team that lost by 160 PTS) but, i DID think a LOT of Wooden's games(admittedly in a team that WON by 160pts)

Selwood would be ahead of both if fit but.
