Well some may say its harsh, but he was dropped, made to modify his game, taken a month, lucky to come in, and played his worst game for us since coming over from WA. If he playes next week i will be gutted big time.
Did absolutely nothing can't be picked again next week after that performance.

Poor bloke , that was a total shocker and his stats for the night would be doughnuts. Was it just me but he seemed to be the man on the mark all night waving his hands around frantically with a Michael Jackson glove on.

Poor bugger put in a shocker. We all know he's better than that. Maybe waving his arms around on the mark was one of the little things Dimma wanted him to work on. If so he'll definately get a game next week .

A relation of Mitch alerted me to the fact that Mitch is/was suffering with G.F so was very surprised he got called up.

I'd be willing to forgive the effort.

Fires against the West Coast so I'd keep him in if he he is well enough.

I am not sure what Dimma wanted him to work on but I am pretty sure he brought none of that to the tablle last night. Rumours of injury don't cut it with me, if he was picked then he must have been medically clear to play.

He is a great lead up mark but just wants to do the round the corner snap kicks all the time, very low percentage kicks that must demoralize the players up the ground. I think it's his head more than anything else that needs fixing, he just needs to do the team thing more.

IMO he is in our best 22 and maybe he knows that too and takes it for granted? A wake up call in the Burgs doesn't seem to have made much difference if that is the case??

Surprised he was called up.

Griff was hurt I presume so Post would have been a better alternative IMO and when The Saints started to really double & tripple team Jack later in the game, a second tall marking forward (respects to Snake but that was not going to be you) would have helped.

One time in particular late in the 3rd Deledio was busting through the centre and though off balance and under pressure, had to go long and had no choice but to try to pick Jack out between a few defenders.

Strange call-up the Mitch one... farwell game perhaps! :p

Had an absolute shocker, but despite the immediate reactions of some on this board, we all know he's a far far better player than that.

I see where you're coming from re the Post option, but I figure MM got the nod cos he was an emergency (along with Rance and Vickery), Post wasn't selected as an emergency.

Geez we turn on our own pretty fast. Accusations that he is selfish, lazy etc, do you really think he is any more so than a year or two ago? I just think with a new coach and game plan and Jack's emergence as a focal point it's meant MM has needed to adjust his role a bit and that adjustment will be ongoing for all our forwards. Temporarily he's a bit out of sync, but he is far too talented to not be a key player for us going forward. Finding form against Saints back 6 is a lot tougher than say next week's opponent, West Coast. But he'll be very lucky to hold his spot as others push for re-instatement.
