Didn't think he deserved to be rubbed out on either of those incidents, and the reprimand is a pretty fair result IMO. He was crazy good yesterday Mitch - can't wait to see him play against Sydney.

Considering his contact on Redden was not a bump but in the action of going for the ball with his hands out in front of him, front on to Redden, I think he is a bit stiff on that one. Incidental contact from first viewing but will have to look at it again.

I thought his action on Black was far more sinister and deliberate and he was lucky no head contact was made. Could almost have been done for a charge IMO.

It all balances out in the end I guess.

Great to see that he got off with just a reprimand.

However those points are a bit of a worry as they will be with him for the remainder of the season. Has to make sure he doesn't do anything too stupid as even a really minor incident could send him over the 100 point mark, resulting in a suspension.

You're thinking of the Simon Black incident which they've obviously decided was OK. He was reported for the 2nd quarter incident with Redden.

1:11 remaining on the clock during the 2nd quarter. Definitely wasn't going for the bump. Had his arms out to his side (as did Redden) and Redden's head made contact with Robbo's chest. Redden just got down lower, first.

It looks bad in real time, but I can't see what else Robbo could have done. He wasn't able to stop quickly enough to stop contact, he didn't go for the bump, he didn't drop his shoulder, and his intent was for the ball.
