He's actually going to the Melbourne State Screening. Not the combine. D'oh. Knew I had read something of that sort. Anyway ..Liam Pickering is his agent and says 8-10 clubs have shown an interest.

I have a couple of mates that are dead keen Hawks fans and apparently he is a real talent just has an attitude and that's why he was delisted.
I still don't think there are any magic bullets in this scenario, Tom lee effectively went for a first round pick last year. If he is real quality and we really want him we will have to pay for him.

Yeah everyone seems to be talking about him being picked up in the draft or PSD, nobody mentioned free agency. Something must be preventing it or maybe clubs see him as a 'worry about later type of player'.

Word was that he was super arrogant, immature and a bit of a tool. Also suffered from multiple injuries that curtailed his development.
Read an article about him and it looks like the penny has dropped. Working hard, coaching well, mentoring the young guys and playing good footy. Said he would love another chance but if it doesn't come then he is happy doing what he is doing.
Drafted 6 and was certainly a talent so hopefully gets a look in and does well. There is a Mitch Thorp thread on the Hawks board but I would guess he is unlikely to head back to us considering he was cut with a year left on his contract.

The article mentioned the bulldogs as well, but apparently the mentioned on trade radio that they were not considering him. It makes since after they got Crameri, as they play a similar position.
So either us or Carlton.
Chris25 has suggested in another thread we would probably have to use our 2nd round pick.
I really cannot see us using our 2nd pick; I was half expecting us to rookie list him only, if other clubs turn their nose up.
This has the potential to be one of my favourite aliases.

Yeah, I'd be disappointed if we picked him up in the main draft. Rookie seems about right for mine.
