It was Sam Landsberger that was one of those who said Garlett wouldn't get picked up ( the day of the draft). I think he's a good young writer btw but just got it wrong.

Thorp will be rookied. Hopefully by us.

I agree. Thorp is the perfect candidate for Rookie Draft, considering his past.

I can not think of one other player that could potentially make a difference in the next 2 years, except maybe Chris Cain. I think we have to look a bit short term so that we can get that elusive premiership.

I remember Mitch Morton kicking 2-3 goals for the Swans in the GF, and I think Thorp could play a similar role for us and hopefully kick a couple in the 2014 GF.
