Assuming the attitude problems are gone that is, I understand he's not playing in a good competition but having Pavlich as a player comparison when drafted and Pavlich being the player on the outer that we need to replace gives us a very solid reason to have a good look at him. If we don't pick him up hoping it's his attitude's still there and not the graden he's playing in that affects the decision

I think he has improved from an arrogant teen to a fairly mature 24 year old.

Carlton and Fremantle have the most pressing need for that kind of player, and are pushing towards a premiership so need a KPF ASAP.

Not a fan of the idea but wouldn't surprise...we have been known to look for a quick fix on occasion. Unless he is tearing the TFL to shreds I am not sure what he would offer over our growing pile of question mark KPF's.

They certainly would. They asked him flat out if he is being spoken to by many other clubs. He is keen on getting to Carlton as he has seen an opportunity there

So presuming clubs have already spoken to him they know? Not all players are outright spoken to until closer to the draft. Especially if you're trying to get a bargain like Thorp and you're trying to hide your interest.

must admit I read how well he is playing in Tasmania (plus leadership & responsibility) and was wondering whether he will get another chance

there are plenty of mature aged players coming out of the state leagues now and having an impact...

personally I hope we do take the punt... the blues need a semi clean out and fresh blood capable of playing next season
