Not sure if he's cooked. Just not sure what it is.

I thought he much better than last week not great but better could have kicked 3 he was a dead eyed dick last season but probably lacking confidence in his game.

Plays a very different game from no. 1 target leading out of the goalsquare into someone on a flank with 3 talls around him. Has to work harder for shots, he’s more fatigued when he takes them, and so his accuracy has fallen. That’s my read on it.

I’m not giving up on him yet. Finding form in the new role will take a bit of time but if he can kick 1-2 a game as a small after the bye it’ll be worth some misses in the first half of the year.
