So happy with his success.

For all the shit he and his brother cop, they are absolutely outstanding characters, hard working and regardless of what some say have made good use of their talents.

Can't help but smile!

Well done Mitchell Marsh. I was very critical of his selection but he's proven me wrong like his brother did.

He looked so much sounder technically than he has previously. His forward defence is much surer and he doesn't play with such hard hands.

I am still interested to see how he goes going forward because it seems a very good pitch for batting ATM and he relies a lot on boundaries (plus there are the injury concerns), but for now the selectors have well and truly been vindicated.

Well done by him. Was still a tricky position he come in at. England pretty much collapsed from that score. He has swung the game into a position we can't lose from (with Smith of course).

He hasn’t seemed as heavy handed as he has in the past. Making 150+ in a Rest isn’t to be sneezed at.

Let’s hope this is the start of something and not a one off. But it hasn’t been a lucky innings, it’s been quite flawless

Some very bitter Marsh-haters deleting my post. It's okay, my backside isn't sore like yours.:D

I’ve never understood people when criticizing a player from a team they support then want that player to fail to be vindicated.

Is being proven right more important than the success of the team?

Honestly I don't think Marshes would've made 100s if not for the shit they copped. So thanks pricktorians:thumbsu:

I've been as big a critic of Mitch as anyone, but this has been a great innings. He's played a big part in completely breaking the spirit of the English team and looked more comfortable it in the middle than I've seen him before.

I really hope he can string some form together through the remainder of the Ashes, as it would be frustrating for it to be flash in the pan.
