Seems to me the club is flipping and flopping over potential moves to City of Casey, O&M, Port etc. I wish they would pick one and settle with it for a while.

Kangaroos move in on Borough
15 October 2002 Herald Sun

THE cash-strapped Kangaroos are investigating a VFL merger with Port Melbourne.
Port reached the VFL grand final this year while aligned with Sydney, but was told on Friday the Swans would not continue the agreement in 2003.
The stand-alone Kangaroos draw top-up players from the Ovens and Murray League, but are considering a merger with the Borough that could save them about $100,000 a year.
Football Victoria is trying to broker the deal, which would need to be agreed by Friday to allow for urgent fixturing and planning demands.
Roos chief executive Geoff Walsh yesterday stressed the two parties had not met yet.
"We have had discussions with (VFL chief) Ken Gannon about the Kangaroos, like Essendon and Carlton, looking at some VFL alignment," he said.
"It is something that we might look at, but if we did it would be something we would have to move quickly on. The football side of things, we have been very happy with the Murray Kangaroos, but the off-field side we really haven't gained a foothold and we haven't been able to attract sponsorship or crowds or a following from that region, so it hasn't been a great exercise in that area."
Essendon has estimated a prospective merger with Bendigo would save nearly $300,000, but Walsh said the Kangaroos spent far less on their VFL team.
"We are really running it off our own football staff slightly extended, so it is not as if we are having to duplicate a whole lot of staff and operations to run the Murray Kangaroos," he said.
Port and Sydney had a year to run on their partnership, but the Swans found it too expensive to fly 12 players to Melbourne each weekend.
Carlton and the Northern Bullants are expected to confirm their merger this week, while the Essendon-Bendigo merger will be decided either way by Friday.
