What a collapse from Kershaw and the Dodgers, so funny to watch.

Great win by the Giants this morning, take over him field advantage now.

Kershaw is 1-3 from 6 starts in the postseason. Really it damages his legacy as a great IMO.

Lee
Scherzer
Verlander
Kershaw

Some great pitchers are getting cleaned up in the post season the last few years.

How good was that 8-pitch AB from Carpenter where he eventually hit the go ahead double. Quality. As lionbear said, poor managing by Mattingly. Couldn't see Bochy ever making that mistake.

And the Tigers bullpen...they really stink

Some managers just don't wake up to the fact play offs are a different game to regular season.

Bochy is not a elite regular season manager, but his ability to adapt his game to a situation come post season is what makes him great.

Great day of baseball. Three games decided by one run, the other into extras.
Yeah I think this sums it up, got to love the MLB post season.

Angels seem to be still in regular season mode and KC have used it to their advantage.

Orioles 1 hand on the championshipo series, comes down to if Detroit can win 3 games without needing to use there bull pen in a tight situation.

Dodgers still early, but the ghosts of 2013 are haunting them.

San Fran showing again they are October specialists, Nationals have to win tomorrow.

Interesting only 1 Wild card and 1 Dividsion series team has won a home game so far.

can anybody see angels coming back from 2-0 down? gonna be tough.

How many times you see a division winner go in with about 2 weeks of meaningless games and get done by a team that just scrapped through and has been playing live-or-die baseball the last few weeks?

There are numerous issues for teams managing this situation.

Giants because the division was over was able to set up for the wild card while the Pirates had to go for the division. Helped them win through.

You play with form at your own risk, Angels seem so far to have blown it, but games so close could easily been 2-0 Angels up. That's just a problem with baseball and short series deciding the big games.

I say taking foot off gas cost the Adelaide Crows in 2005-06.

Orioles se to be handling the two weeks of meaningless games well, but helps when facing a double a bull pen;)

First lead of the night, Nationals don't score in the bottom of the 18th and that is a blow in the series a lot of teams would never come back from.
