Offspeed pitch - you dont ever see anyone get ejected for hitting someone with an offspeed pitch. I love it how people figure out ways around 'rules' (eg anyone who throws at an astros player will be ejected)
How ironic this will turn into a great advantage for the Astros. How long until every pitcher gets tossed even hitting a player by accident.

Seriously, if you're a tweeter and you're not following Trevor Bauer, you're not Twitter'ing properly.

Players are guaranteed a full 'years service' should no games be played this year - means Mookie Betts is a free agent next year etc. Not a bad result for the red sox in the end.

Another example is my Braves signing 1 year deals for Ozuna and Hamels - $18m each down the drain haha (presuming they get paid 100% of their contract which would be doubtful??)

I don’t mind this idea, realigning divisions according to location. 100 game season and expanded playoffs...

I dont read any articles with 'what could happen', especially AFL etc so didnt read the link, but my question:

Why do i keep hearing about a shortened season with expanded playoffs/finals??? seems dumb to expand playoffs, just play more normal season games.....

My guess is leagues are looking at ways to extend playoffs/finals series for 2021 onwards and lessen the H&A games.

The whole Houston scandal feels like a lifetime ago.
But here we are, ready to go again.

60 game season is extraordinary. Good teams can’t afford to have a poor run. Every game feels like it will carry a lot more meaning. From that point of view I’m intrigued about how it will play out.

Assuming that contract clauses will be Pro Rated.
Ie. JA Happ throwing x Innings before his extension is activated

I think Washington/NYY Opening Day is a preview of the WS tbh.
U reckon?

Yanks I reckon will be there for sure, but I don’t know about Washington

Scherzer ain’t the ace he used to be and losing Rendon is massive

Yanks and Dodgers look almost an odds on chance of happening to me

I’m keen to see the Angels, that offense is absolutely stacked

Angels offence is stacked, but their pitching staff ain't worth bupkis.

Really hope these rule changes won’t be a long term thing. Understand the logic given the current circumstances, just don’t want to see them as permanent.
