That's the crazy part, giants may play the 106 game winners in the first round of the playoffs....

Would be an epic series though, arch rivals with full houses.

At the very least the MLB should arrange it so wildcard winners can be seeded based on regular season record for the divisional series. So for instance the Dodgers get the 2 seed if they win and play the Brewers rather than the 4 seed. I'm sure most people see LA vs SF as worthy of a 7 game series.

i hadnt seen he will miss the post season - i thought they were still hopeful of a return. Yeah, shouldnt be a problem next year (although, how many times do you see it happen within the next 12 months after they get the all clear)

Not surprising with how he ended the season. was pretty great the last 18 months for them though but since the MLB Sticky Stuff crackdown he hasn't been what he was
