King was the worst player on the ground by a country mile. Looked every inch the Diamond Valley player out of his depth.

Johnson was worst. He's supposed to be our captain and yet was missing for the whole game.
King was terrible, but I don't expect anything from him. Jackson was deplorable.
You can add Morton to the list also.
There were a lot of noncontributors out there.
Cannot understand why King was brought in for Brown when Meyer should have been played or at least Connors.

You have to kidding BJ17. Loyalty is one thing but be realistic. Number 17 is an absolute joke. How can u defend his last 2 weeks. Geelong didnt even worry about manning him up in our forward line last night. Thought Tom Harley was gonna fall over with laughter when he saw his opposite captain come towards him

Bazzar, I don't think he's on his Sam Malone in wanting KJ removed. Just because he's captain doesn't mean he should escape the same sort of scrutiny any other player cops.

Silly me. Here i was thinking he has had a very good year apart from the odd quiet game. I suppose averaging 24 touches and 92 dream team points means he is being carried.
Oh and yes, i do want him as Captain next year (should be his last) and i will bet a slab he will be.

As usual the defenders of the hack can only bring up dream team points. Hopefully the AFL will start up a Hall Of Fame for the dream team. The hack will go straight in as a legend.Barry Mitchell would have been a superstar if we had dream points back when he was playing. Like the hack lots of useless possesions. Kane Johnson is a very under performing player, scared of taking on his responsibility as captain
he doesnt even rate IMO as one of our top leaders at the club
so SKJ is correct to say that
SKJ isnt asking for the removal of our captain...IMO KJ hasnt ever acted like a captain...its just a title to him

I see what you're trying to say, but look at the bigger picture. Possessions mean nothing in today's footy.
He gets the ball and dishes it off immediately without any thought or nous. That's fine if there's a decent option to give it to, but more often than not for us, there's not. He's a liability at the moment.

My main problem with him is that when he's even a touch below 100%, he's absolutely horrible and it shows.
I agree that he should be there next season as we don't exactly have a multitude of players pushing for selection, but captaincy should be given to Newman - the real class act.

Also one thing on KJ, does anyone else notice that when he gets the ball and has a runner going past, the opposition don't even bother tackling KJ - as if they know he'll pass it every time?
Bazzar, you should have also included the number of possessions he gets which are cheap throwaways. If there was an official stat for the 'number of dinky handballs to a teammate in a worst position', KJ would be the competition leader.

Disagree. Newman is one of the few players who have genuinely gone backwards this season.
Not sure bout that tugg, my prob with KJ at times is he doesnt give the #%@$ thing off quick enough, would appear to be working thru about 3 options before unloading the pill...Wouldnt judge him on last night, for mine this year has claerly been his best in yellow and black
