Not surprising it was 3 richmond players with the 3-2-1. And the winner?

You have to kidding BJ17. Loyalty is one thing but be realistic. Number 17 is an absolute joke. How can u defend his last 2 weeks. Geelong didnt even worry about manning him up in our forward line last night. Thought Tom Harley was gonna fall over with laughter when he saw his opposite captain come towards himKJ will bounce back at AAMI next week, dont discount him

Tell me, do you want Kane Johnson as our captain next year, or even playing? You are a disgrace to the Richmond football club. With a name that calls for the removal of our Captain, shows just what a moron you are.
Do you think anyone of the listed players at our great club would agree with you, or agree with my assessment?

I don't really like the user name SackKaneJohnson, but at the same time, I really think he needs to hang up the boots at the end of the year.
Can't afford to carry our captain every week
As usual the defenders of the hack can only bring up dream team points. Hopefully the AFL will start up a Hall Of Fame for the dream team. The hack will go straight in as a legend.Barry Mitchell would have been a superstar if we had dream points back when he was playing. Like the hack lots of useless possesions. I will accept the bet of a slab that he will not be captain(only a title) next yearSilly me. Here i was thinking he has had a very good year apart from the odd quiet game. I suppose averaging 24 touches and 92 dream team points means he is being carried.
Oh and yes, i do want him as Captain next year (should be his last) and i will bet a slab he will be.
A few games this year when he was carried
31 disps (18 kicks 13 hballs) and 15 marks in Rd 17 3-pt win over Brisbane at Telstra Dome (26 Jul 2008)
23 disps (15 kicks 8 hballs), 8 marks and a goal in Rd 16 4-pt win over Essendon at the MCG (19 Jul 2008)
26 disps (12 kicks 14 hballs), 12 marks and a goal in Rd 15 77-pt win over West Coast at Subiaco (13 Jul 2008)
25 disps (11 kicks 14 hballs), 8 marks and 5 tackles in Rd 8 30-pt loss to Geelong at the MCG (17 May 2008)
31 disps (8 kicks 23 hballs), 4 marks, 5 tackles and a goal in Rd 6 12-pt loss to Hawthorn at the MCG (27 Apr 2008)
25 disps (13 kicks 12 hballs), 7 marks and 8 tackles in Rd 5 draw with the Western Bulldogs at Telstra Dome (20 Apr 2008)
36 disps (23 kicks 13 hballs) and 10 marks in Rd 4 64-pt win over Fremantle at Subiaco (13 Apr 2008)

without blinking all of our listed players would agree
Correctwithout blinking all of our listed players would agree
Kane Johnson is a very under performing player, scared of taking on his responsibility as captain
he doesnt even rate IMO as one of our top leaders at the club
so SKJ is correct to say that
SKJ isnt asking for the removal of our captain...IMO KJ hasnt ever acted like a captain...its just a title to him
I see what you're trying to say, but look at the bigger picture. Possessions mean nothing in today's footy.Silly me. Here i was thinking he has had a very good year apart from the odd quiet game. I suppose averaging 24 touches and 92 dream team points means he is being carried.

Disagree. Newman is one of the few players who have genuinely gone backwards this season. My main problem with him is that when he's even a touch below 100%, he's absolutely horrible and it shows.
I agree that he should be there next season as we don't exactly have a multitude of players pushing for selection, but captaincy should be given to Newman - the real class act.
I see what you're trying to say, but look at the bigger picture. Possessions mean nothing in today's footy.
He gets the ball and dishes it off immediately without any thought or nous. That's fine if there's a decent option to give it to, but more often than not for us, there's not. He's a liability at the moment.
