no, you can't get his one, because he designed the football one himself, but i'm sure if he could post a copy of the program on the fantasy Footy web-site.

how do you program your own then, what program do i need. Can you do that mobbers, post something so i can see what to do.

i remember earlier on, he said he did the program in QBasic, you could probably do a better one in Visual Basic, but it would take some time.

There not freeware, you have to play for the programs, and then, both languages take a fair bit of time to learn.

Yeah I wrote it myself in about 1990, using QBasic. Actually QBasic can be downloaded for free, but I can't remember where from. Macca19 knows, I think.

The program I have written, I can send to you through eMail if you like, but you need to download QBasic first so that it will work. Because its an ancient and outdated programming language, there'll be little things you'll need to find out for yourself, like getting your PC to know that you've got it. These things are a little tricky.

As far as creating something yourself, yes, it takes time. I first started playing with the BASIC programming language in about 1986, and was only able to write the footy game in about 1990. It was a drawn-out process, and now consists of one huge file (about 30 pages long if printed out) and another approximately one hundred smaller files.

As suggested above, VBasic is the classier, newer, Windows-friendly version of the language, I have it here (it needs to be purchased and most decent stores would have it), but was never able to learn even the simplest parts of it, even after trying for a good three or four years. A course (eg TAFE) would be recommended.

it is downloadable for free...i cant remember what page tho...there are heaps...just do a search on QBasic on yahoo or something...that will come up with it
