The screw that used to rape them in jail I assume, the one Harry reminded him of
Yep, that makes sense.

Seems a strange time for him to go off looking for him.

I’m also struggling to see the relevance of it to the story.
I think it goes to state of mind and any subsequent wrong turns he might make obsessing over it instead of focusing what is in front of him

It’s the only time we’ve seen him angry and it came on the back of the Maeve revelation.

Even that makes no sense. Assuming Eddie is his brother, why would her alluding to that remind him of when he was assaulted by this guy. Struggling to see why they'd be connected.

I absolutely love the show, I do think it's got some interesting flaws though.

That is my take, it is something he had long buried away... and now he has remembered it, it is starting to consume his thoughts over all else they are dealing with

It could be that Conrad took advantage of the situation while Kevin was in the slammer. Otherwise, how would anyone know that Eddie isn't Kevin's son? So the two things are linked in Kevin's head.

How that would pertain to the current plot is unclear. Does he get nicked? Or he's away from the Cotswolds when it kicks off next episode?

Maeve's motivations consistently make no sense. Her actions have led to the death of her first born son. She's favouring Eddie - who she's not related to, a product of her husband's infidelity - over her only remaining child.

Maeve did keep banging on about how Eddie is a Harrigan..
Here's some wild speculation, maybe Kevin isn't.....

And she's shown she's close with Ritchie, maybe he's Kevin's real father

I'm not sure how any of that could mean anything to the story... But 🤷

Jeepers. The plot thickens!

Also, Harry was first to recognise the dodgy screw. Is this how he's been signing in to the hospice?

I don’t even know where to start.

Strangely enough, the scenes with Kevin and the former guard were actually pretty good.

The rest was ridiculous really. The dinner scene the worst and the song at the end….wtf.

I hate every scene that Mauve and Conrad are in.

I love the scenes with Harry, Eddie and Ritchie mostly.

Hopefully the final episode brings some quality.

I am still enjoying it

I think/hope most of the threads come together

But **** me that family. How can you sit at a dinner table and take that . Just dysfunctional. I do agree on the cartoony aspect of Maeve and Conrad and I was hoping that it would break them but then the singing started

I do think the lawyer is a goner and Antoine as well once the rumour of pictures and film of that meeting gets out

I think Isabella might turn grass once it all goes bellend.

Kat McAllister arriving at the death knell

And Eddie in a spa smoking a big fat cigar at the end - unless Harry does him

I thought the mole was already established as Maeve? Unless they're leaking everywhere.

Harry obviously wants out. Has seen the writing on the wall etc.

Eddie turning on Maeve instantly was disappointing. That's never been on the cards the whole season and we didn't even get the actual scene of it happening.

The lawyer seems done. I imagine Isabella is as well.

I am still enjoying it, i have no idea how it all plays out... whatever Harry has actually been up to I hope is all going to come out... Him letting the undercover take the stuff for the DNA?
Talk of him wanting out, not being happy by multiple people... I have no idea but am expecting a twist

The twist might be that Harry is the mole. This show will do anything it feels like at any moment.

There's a really good show in there but it does feel like it's trying to do to much, certainly in one season.

The Harrigans
Kevin and the guard
Seraphina and the deal abroad
Jan and her cop friend
Richie
Eddie
Kat
The dirty cop
Harry

It just feels like they'd have been better off focusing on a few of those and fleshing them out.

Yeah spot on. I like it but it could be fantastic if it was “tighter”.

to be honest, i enjoy the chaos, but also do expect nearly all of those points to loop around together and be linked/explain each other

I think they could have skipped the subplots for Kevin and the guard, and Bella's attempted deal making.

The rest mostly fits together. The Seraphina abroad stuff introduced Kat into the story. Kat and Jaime see Harry as the one to deal with, not Conrad. It has also exposed to the family that Maeve intended to get Seraphina killed.

Of the Harrigan mob only Harry knows Alice is an undercover cop. He let her leave with her (planted?) incriminating evidence on Conrad. Strategic by Harry or some attraction between them?

I've not picked up that in the slightest. Especially with her calling him a campaigner when he caught her. Don't think there's anything there.
