Great start, 26-50 is much harder however around your 25+ mark, I see Polkinghorne , just keeps impacting & possibly Simpson now figuring because of his carnival , good to see Farmer there, he was effective today and thinks on his disposal.

Ebert will go much, much higher. Also, while he has been talked up and had a great championships, I think that Palmer doesn't have the polish and upside to go top 3.

Here's a stab in the dark at what clubs are looking for:

1. Richmond - Kreuzer
2. Carlton - Cotchin
3. Melbourne - Palmer
4. Brisbane - Morton
5. Port - Ebert
6. StKilda - McEvoy
7. Kangaroos - Greenwood
8. Fremantle - Masten
9. Essendon - Rioli
10. Bulldogs - Henderson
11. Collingwood - Grimes
12. Hawthorn - Bellchambers
13. Sydney - Myer
14. Adelaide - Collier
15. Geelong - Selwood
16. West Coast - Sampey
17. Richmond - Veszpremi
18. Carlton - Mckenna
19. Brisbane - Motlop
20. Melbourne - Grant
21. Port - Maric

You really don't think Carlton can win/draw another game?

If Pagan could afford to go 0-8, I'd be more easily persuaded.

Mistake there, realistically Carlton would have to lose every game for Richmond to overtake them. If that happened they'd get the priority pick anyway which would change everything, but I doubt it will happen.

I doubt Carlton will win another game, given their current form and their draw over the last 8 weeks of the season.

Good effort bigcalls although there is no possible way Levi Greenwood will go before Cale Morton

Can anyone give a breakdown of where there is a big difference in picks?
EG usually there are 5-7 top liners, with the next 20 or so being very even, who would be the top liners this year and when does it flatten out?

Thanks.

Not so sure about this one. Sure, he played well yesterday, and presented well, but in the top 25 is a massive massive call. I don't even have him in my top 50 at this stage.

Another ruckman for Hawthorn?

Please, no. I'd much rather Maric.

Carlton will get pick 1 and get Kreuzer and stuff up Richmond's development. Adam Pattison is great though.

yea, we are pretty set for talls

i've heard veszpremi's name a fair bit over last few years, would he fit in well(kinda directed at you philhawk/ anyone who can be bothered answering, a bit hawthorn specific)

is veszpremi a small foward who pushes into midfield? and whats Maric like?

Veszpremi is a hard working mid with a good turn of speed. Makes good decisions, and uses the ball well. Missed the championships due to a broken thumb.

Maric is a small forward, who has that touch of X-Factor about him. Makes things happens when the ball is in his vicinity, great accuracy when he kicks for goal, and has damn good penetration with his kicking as well. Both these guys should go in the 15-25 range.

Does Maric have much potential as an AFL mid? Or is he exclusively a small forward? His currency would be much enhanced if he could be at least a part-time mid.

He certainly has the skill to go there, but he only plays cameo roles in there from what I have seen. He went into the midfield today, but IIRC, only stayed there for a quarter. Not to sure about his engine either.

THANKS VERY MUCH HBF!!:thumbsu::thumbsu:

maric i think would fit in very well by that description, has he been consistent as a small foward?

St Kilda will be after a quick, skilled midfielder with their first pick. Probably someone in the mould of Travis Boak. Are there any players that fit the description are likely to go from 6-9?

So Does Anyone Think Any Of The Queensland Boys Will Get Drafted.before The Carnival They Were Talking 6-8 Now I Am Lost For Words On How Many, you Would Think Zorco Is A Chance I Would Not Rule Out Reid Even Though His Carnival Was Below His Standard Still Their Best Potential Player Other Players Gibson, Stweart, mulligan, brittan, magin,

I did't think Scott Selwood was eligible this year.

IMO Palmer will go top 3, he is a goalkicking mid and is ready made.

Cotchin will drop down a few spots.

Ebert will be top 5, possibly to Carlton at pick 2 or 3.

Bellchambers I think will be second round.

Here is my take. Spaces denote where I see a drop off in class.
1. Richmond - Kreuzer

2. Carlton - Cotchin
3. Melbourne - Masten
4. Brisbane - Morton
5. Port - Palmer
6. StKilda - Henderson

7. Kangaroos - Grimes
8. Fremantle - McEvoy
9. Essendon - Ebert

10. Bulldogs - Gaertner
11. Collingwood - Bellchambers
12. Hawthorn - Collier
13. Sydney - Grant
14. Adelaide - Rioli
15. Geelong - Selwood

16. West Coast - Greenwood
17. Richmond - Veszpremi
18. Carlton - Rance
19. Brisbane - Gourdis
20. Melbourne - Myer
21. Port - Maric[/quote]
