I hope that the family/work/life commitments don't take over too much as he's been, and hopefully remains, one of the best informed and intelligent posters on the board. And I know I will never forget the unwavering JPOD support over his time. :D

Cheers PO and thanks for everything you have done here. Certainly hard shoes to fill and i'm sure DTC will make the transition seamless and successful.

And for those wondering, the best candidate was selected by the Site Admin's and Supers for the job from a pool of candidates, both male and female.

Ha that takes me back Daz I remember a post on here (wish I could dredge it up) about 2 weeks after his debut when someone posted they saw a guy walking around Uni with a JPOD tshirt from the thread here-which was me, I took one of the JPOD gifs someone posted here and a blank tshirt and went to this t-shirt place across the road from campus and had them iron print it on :D Those were the days when we were students and had no kids and responsibilities ;)

I hang up the tracksuit with a bit of sadness but all things come to an end, I do need some time to do a lot of big things at home this year and it will free me up to have a bit of time to still do draft and trade stuff which I enjoy and listen to Willo's podcasts. I will still be around as much as possible.

I would like to pay tribute first to SJ and then jim boy and winty who have done a lot of work over a very long time to make this place a great community (they have been doing it long before I was ever here) and recently you dazbroncos and catempire who have been fantastic mods since coming on board. David the Cat is a really good poster, very even handed and sensible and he will do a great job. I hope all of us will support the new mod team, they aren't perfect and we don't get everything right all the time but remember they are people trying to do their best just like everyone else, and they give up a lot of their personal time with their families and kids and friends to do modding and they do it to try and make the place the best community possible for everyone. Hopefully we can support them and all do our bit to make this a great community too, which I think we do, it's a place I definitely will continue to enjoy being a part of.

DTC is a mod now! I'm currently rubbing my hands together while saying "ex-cell-ent". Good on ya DTC. Always enjoyed interacting with you and reading your posts..... Edit, if this works I might end up getting banned. Looks like DTC is the new mod on the block..... Because "oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, he's got the right stuff". (Sorry, not sorry)

Lol. Maybe one day my life long dream of being a mod on the BigFooty forum will be realised. Until then I just live in envy of those such as yourself.

I'm expecting big things from the pretty boy this year, and I'm not talking about attention to his hair and socks. He's square in the middle of the under performing 2nd tier we need to lift for us to be a premiership threat. He, Duncan, Motlop especially must lift.

His end to the year wasn't too bad, when he was moved behind the footy (enter S.Selwood and Menegola). His Preliminary final a worry though, extremely poor.
