Sorry fellas, but people keep directing posts at me, I will probably reply. You guys aren't mandated to read this thread.

Like I said about 3 pages ago, the election idea is not going to happen so I am not going to suggest it again. I'm just replying to those who have used the suggestion as a means to have a go.

You asserted that I must want to get rid of the current mods. You backed that up by reasoning that "no one would suggest an election if they didn't like the status quo". You don't know which choice I would have made.

If you think I'm liar you can push that angle, there's not much I can say to change your mind, but don't try to convince people with flawed logic. It's easy to do, but you won't fool anyone worth fooling.

I don't believe I have had any posts deleted lately. If any posts had been deemed inappropriate and deleted I would have been warned or infracted, I haven't. I have not seen any of my posts deleted, nor recieved any notification at all about my posts being innappropriate for at least two months.

Tell me where you think my posts have been deleted and I'll check.

Posts can be removed without any mention at all fwiw. I'm not sure which ones were removed, belnakor mentioned it.

I don't think you are hated so much as pitied. I know I envision you Belnakor and Memories huddled around the same reflecting pool and it's a quite a pitiful sight.

When exactly did Memories become fused with the "Jeffnakor alliance"?

Memories appears to be quite independant and balanced with his posts on this board.

In this thread http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=384638 almost a whole page got removed, some of these were your posts. Once they are gone you can't see them.

My opinion is Roundhouse has acted out of frustration at your repeatedly hostile, illogical, unrepentant rants..

This forum has become poisonous since you lot have arrived, many respected posters have left and others have reduced their number of posts because of the atmosphere you have created.

You will argue that its your right to express your views whilst this is correct its only your right whilst it doesnt impact upon others enjoyment. The two of you have shown a totally selfish regard for others enjoyment by continually ramming your thoughts down the our throats and refusing to take on board the forums response to them.

How about going away and think about participating here in a manner that is conducive to the forums once friendly environment.

You are just induling in hyperbole here Champ. All guys like myself, GJ and Memories do is simply ask questions about the club, ask about why so and so is getting a game, and suddenly we're one step below the average WCE supporter coming in here and trolling.

This forum has never been stronger since there has actually been some debate about the team. If you guys don't like some healthy debate, and some PASSION about the team then perhaps you should go to Dockerland.. in my book getting fired up about the team and having an argument or two is part and parcel of being passionate about the team.

Exactly, this is a footy forum - there will be debate, arguments, and disagreements.

When new posters join the board and present fresh ideas I think it adds to the board.

Dockerland is the absolute antithisis of what this board should become.

Why bring up Dockerland?

As far as I know Dockerland is a site created over ten years by a Freo supporter who owns it and moderates it as he sees fit.

Bigfooty, as far as I know, was originally started by American company who have no real interest in any teams or football at all for that matter. They started the site to make money, and the moderators here have instructions about what they can and cannot allow.

Why close down the thread?

Since GJ brought up Dockerland, I seem to remember threads about the moderation of Dockerland, some very heated and innflamatory, that have exceeded 20 pages and been allowed to run their course.

This thread has had over 3000 views in it's short life, why do assume that it has run its course?

Theres always been debate and at times heated. But posters have known when not to push it and drop it. You guys dont know when to temper your comments and will deliberately push and push the issue.

Absolute rubbish.

As far as why the site was started and if it makes money, to get exact details you would have to speak to Chief.

I can tell you what I know, the guy isn't american and I am pretty sure BigSoccer doesn't have much impact on the content of this site. Furthermore I don't think this site exactly make's a bucket load of money.

I can tell you for a fact team board moderator's are given very little instruction's on how to run their boards. Other than the obvious "No-No's" it's pretty much fair game, one look at how different each team board is prove's this point.

Dockerland is a big part in this site and board's popularity, they can run their site anyway they want.
But the fact remain's many disgruntled posters left that site for a board where they could actually say something negative about THEIR club.

This thread asked if we should have moderator election, an overwhelming response from the poster was No.

This of course ignores the fact that any election has almost 0 impact on who moderates.

Finally it is becoming an all out war between the usual combatant's, something we have been trying to stamp out.
