Mod. Notice Moderator Notice - Please Read

Dear Sweet F.A. community.

As a group, we feel that now is a good time to remind everyone to be conscious of and careful with how they post around the board.

The Sweet F.A. is founded on the principle of banter and rivalries against other personas and teams, and has never (and will never) accept personalised attacks, bullying, harassment or targeted trolling.

Given some of the posting around here recently, the moderator group has started a board-wide enforcement of rules and standards on posting which crosses the line. It’s not just about breaching the black and white rules of the board as written, but breaching acceptable posting standards.

Here are just a few specific examples of things (in addition to the rules linked to here) that we have always considered unacceptable and will take a stronger stance on moving forward:

• Zero tolerance of mocking any form of disability.
• Zero tolerance of mocking anything to do with gender/sexuality.
• Zero tolerance of sexist statements/posting.
• Zero tolerance of racism.
• Zero tolerance of slanderous statements about a poster or group.
• Zero tolerance of creepy/explicit/sexually suggestive posting.
• Zero tolerance of targeted ongoing harassment at a poster.
• Zero tolerance of criticising moderator decisions publicly, including accusations or inference of bias.

If we see any signs of the above in the league moving forward, we will enforce the rules and relevant punishment on posters. Ongoing offenders will face more serious consequences including board bans.

Here's how you should handle times where you observe any of the above:

1. Report the offending post to the moderators
2. We will handle it
3. Leave it at that - don't attack, respond, provoke, rally the troops or otherwise make the situation worse than what it needs to be

I’m sure some of you may be wishing to work out where that leaves your posting in Sweet F.A. To these people I suggest you learn to evolve how you post or consider whether you need to be in the Sweet F.A.

These are the same rules we’ve principally always had – we are just taking a stronger stance on the above. As usual, if you have any questions about any of this feel free to reach out to us via PM and we'll be happy to clarify anything.

We can see that some people are having a hard time working out what the rules are. That's OK.

We're not going to card casual things like "don't be mad" as a joke about mental health, or "hey that's sexy" as sexually explicit material.

We are going to deal with posts and insults about mental disabilities , harsh jokes about the target user's own mental health, posting sexualised images or graphic descriptions of sex acts. We'll always moderate appropriately and in context, but we won't be letting this stuff slip.

If you're having that hard a time with another user, take it to PM and invite mods in to mediate.

If you still don't understand, ask a mod.

Hi all,

Just a quick reminder of site rules regarding swear filter evasion. Please note that gifs and images with uncensored swearing is still evading the swear filter. I have deleted quite a few of these lately, hence this warning.

If you want to post a particular gif or image that has swearing in it, censor the swear and it'll be fine.
