Moderator

I am hoping on being this boards moderator but Bluey wants 6 people to email him with support for me being the moderator. Could you please do this, i would be very greatful.

jod23, I do really want to be moderator but I need the support of 6 people. My friend is going to be 1 and so 5 others are needed. I was hoping I could be as goeagles is already moderating another board. Please guys.

I dont think its abouts wanting to be a moderator...i think its more about a forum needing a moderator. To me a moderator is a position of power over other people and a reason to think your more special.

Yes, when the day comes where this board needs moderating I will support you but at this current time I dont think a moderator is necessary.

I know what you are getting at visro and I understand.
I don't know why I want to be moderator, I just do. I reckon every board needs a moderator for the odd occasion that a thread does come up, saves Bluey having to do it and HAving a moderator seems to get more traffic happening on the board.

I for one am not voting. Goeagles is the moderator and until he relinquishes that position of his own free will or gets it taken off him by bluey i think it would be unfair for us to vote for a new moderator.

daddy_4_eyes, GoEagles is the moderator for the Cricket Board, not this board. The Eagles Board currently has no moderator.

I don't see a lot of point in having a moderator here but if someone wants to write up why they want to be moderator and how the forum will be better off by it, then I will reconsider.

There seems to be some kudos associated with moderating any forum as the title gets carried to the main forum. I think that should stop. The title moderator should only be shown when in the forum you moderate.
