Moderator . . . ?

One thing mentioned when discussions about a Roys board were first mooted, was whether there would be a need for a moderator (ie: to curb abusive encounters etc.).

What do we all reckon? Is it necessary at this stage? Or should we wait a while and see what happens?

This is one point I was considering before - I would say no, we don't need a moderator just yet, but then again, I do think we're going to encounter a fair bit of abuse on here, there were a lot of people who are against this board's existence don't forget.........perhaps we should wait and see???

Dodongo will laugh if you overtake the other team boards except Brisbane and Kangaroos which will never be done. Dodongo would find it quite amusing that a board that has an extinct team will go better than Collingwood and other team boards. Dodongo wishes to advise that this is probably Dodongo's only post on this board. Dodongo just wanted to post on it to see how it feels. Dodongo might be back but Dodongo doesn't know.

Well, this board has already overtaken Sydney's which according to the Roy Morgan Research Centre is the most supported club in the AFL.

Next board on the list is Collingwood - only 16 posts ahead. (6th of Morgan List)

Bet Dodongo is now laughing at Dodongo's prophecy!

We don't need moderation, we need counselling ( as in consoling ) and a more respectful view of Fitzroy and our involvement in that amazing journey. Great therapy.

I am finding that the board itself, with all the great Fitzroy people and entertaining topics, is great therapy.

Kinda brings the club back to life for me.
