Looks like a good map. Fairly big.

I like a couple of open maps so I can use a sniper rifle at times. That's why I didn't mind Seelow in WAW. Run and gun gets a bit boring after a while.

Yeah it has been, and as discussed it is pointless as if you have a 25+ kill streak you are most likely winning easily already and the nuke kills everyone including yourself ending the game!

This is what some guy over at Whirlpool who pirated the game for the Xbox 360 had to say about matchmaking:

There is a new feature of MP (new as opposed to COD4, I didnt play W@W) where when you say join game, it does a little test of all the games and actually does try to find you the most decent connection available. The test cycles through a few games quickly and then figures out the actual best server. It worked very well.

It doesn't sound so bad after all (for console owners, that is).

Anyway, I wouldn't be trusting that account of matchmaking yet. Let's wait until we have millions of yanks playing before saying that. I can see it taking upwards of 10 minutes to find a match if that's the way it will be.

Is there anything more annoying than dying from a matrydom when on a long kill streak.

that map was VERY open

in fact i don't even think running and gunning is an option looking at how open that level is....might have to crack out the m16 (i forgot if it made the cut) or something that's a bit more reliable at long range (though no doubt once i learn the maps off by heart i'll know how to play it better running and gunning )
i have a feeling it will be my worst level by a mile as surely there won't be a level more open than that.

Haha, he's already accepted that he is going to get bant, but he said that he is going to buy an elite package in a week or so anyway.

He also said that there is already thousands of people playing on Live.

Lol, nah i doubt that mang.

It's about finding a good connection, not a perfect one. The WaW system certainly didnt take 10 min...didn't take any longer than unfiltered. This will most likely be refined and even better/quicker
