the spawns are all over the place, Bootleg is usually good but today i was killing people only for them to spawn just around the corner from me

The most annoying thing about Arkaden (amongst many things) for me are the lack of safe flanking routes. With the raised area sort of overlooking the centre of the map it means you have no protection if you trying to get in behind your opponent.

The amount of times I have been shot in the back (my pet peeve) on that shithole of a map is ridiculous.

I am not sure if its just my current bias but I cannot recall hating a map as much as Arkaden - Estate, Wasteland, Nuketown ... are all up there for shitness but for mine Arkaden takes the cake for worst CoD map of all time, of all time.

Agreed! I played drop zone on that shit hole and they put the DZ on the bloody stairs!

I liked Nuketown but the rest you named and you can add downturn to that list too

Yep, Downturn is terrible. Never have to play it though as it always gets skipped

Derail was also shit. Playing Dom or HQ on it was a mind ****. Run, run, run to the other side, sniped by some **** wit, back to the other end

Not a huge fan of Bootleg either. Outpost is also shit

Village, Dome, Mission and Lockdown are faves. Always seem to top the leaderboards on these. Don't get the hate for Arkaden, i like it for Dom.

The others i don't mind

Wish there was an accolade for topping the leaderboards in a match, would be great to be able to track it... unless there is and i'm missing it

I reckon that's why the spawns are so bad in this, they tried to fix this by spawning people right in the middle of the action

Derail was so easy to rack kills up by flanking... just go up the empty side lob a smoke over the crates run to train along it's rails ands then into building, then caqmp their spawn for the lulz...

Fave maps in order so far. Will probably cop it for where I have put Arkaden but it's one of the maps I play pretty well.

I got it by camping a spawntrap on the smallest map in the game.

I used to hate Arkaden with a passion when I started to play. But I don't mind it now. I'm generally a flanking player myself and as I result I originally hated. I just changed my playing style and expectations on the map and now it's not so bad.

Whn playing it don't just try to hold the top area ( I'm a TDM player). That's a mistake many people make. There are just about 5 or 6 ways an opponent can come into that area.

I just changed my playing style to more of a run and gunner and started to patrol the lower areas. I found this is the best way to play because the opposition is so fixated on getting up to the higher level you often take them by surprise in the lower corridors.

I also tend to use the Perk strike package on this map. The Assult strike package is limited because 65% of the map is under cover.
