Tredders aslo acheived the biggest sook in AFL history during the "Dream Final" after match press conference.

Plus he was "acting" captain of a premiership team. Very similar to Stephan Bradbury winning a gold medal after everyone in front of him fell over. Its the only way Tredders would have ever held the cup because no team that hates their leader so much could win a flag.

The pole results speak for themselves!! Though but rory and Toots etc would still deny the result even though it is staring them in the face. Maybe toots can clean his camera (from dog excretement) and take a photo of it.

Rory wouldn't know a great forward if fell over one.

Mods may have liked the ladies off the field but within the Club he was a popular team member. Unlike Tredders who is predominantly hated by the entire PAFC playing list and would still struggle to get a vote in a captaincy poll if it was held tomorrow.

Modra is a very decent guy, so I think your perception of him actually says more about you than it does about Mods. Most of the stories about Modra were pure BS and he is excellent company, if anything he's a little bit on the shy side.

He never craved the spotlight and it nearly resulted in him quitting footy all together in 94/95, so you can hardly position him as some sort of arrogant poser. Just a country boy with the gift of athleticism. He has now returned to living in the country, so he can avoid the constant scrutiny that he still gets.

Anyways, despite my opinion of him, I do admire him. We probably won't see another full forward like him for a long time. I doubt there wasn't a young kid trying to emulate Mods when he was at his best.
