Yep, true. You not going to get a top 20 slot just by being some nonce spudding it up. You've got to spud it up with extreme prejudice!

Although, Cam Ellis-Yolmen stiff to miss 2nd 25 based upon the above. Ticks a few boxes...
McStay and CEY. Average players who had average years.
Not top ten material.

Cale Hooker has already been mentioned..

He’s excluded due to getting the lifetime achievement award last year.

My bad re big Cale.
Could always replace him with yet another Essendon spud. I hear Mason Redman went downhill this year..

Like so many AFL players this year, you haven't yet noticed Tom J Lynch sneaking up for a cheap shot... and an entry in the top 10.
Not to be confused with the inferior Tom T Lynch who is a worthy no.26 on this year's list.

As a Port supporter, I'm feeling chuffed, but mildly left out of the fun, by the lack of 2020 Port players in this year's list, which is probably why we traded into the bottom 50 with Raz.

Speaking of ex-Port players, Jared Polec must've been pretty close to this list with his bags of money for playing scratch matches

Still have to fit Jake Stringer, Daniher and Jason Johannisen into that list

the only problem was polec wasn't actually that bad, he played to his usual standard, just rhys shaw wanted to turn him into a tagger for some reason

That's true, Polec played his usual game. I see it as a negative on both of their counts however - Shaw utilised Polec in a bizarre way, however Polec didn't try to adjust his game to suit the coach/team
