I would expect that the game has evolved to the point where all the 'players' - staff, on field participants, broadcasters would be able to communicate through channels to the Fluros at earliest opportunity. The match halted, and the player looked after by medical staff.Yeah, they did take him off eventually … after 60% TOG.
Clubs employ small armies to monitor when players should be pulled for managing their loads, or for not following game plan, or because they’re not matching up to their opponent.
How on earth does a club not notice that a player is not in a fit state to be on the ground?!?
The fact it took so long for Carlton to notice one of their players was sunning himself under the lights of the MCG on a banana lounge with piña colada in hand is a pretty bad indictment on Carlton.
Are they even watching the game? Little wonder they can’t win games of footy.
Hindsight, hey.
Morris has foot to mouth history.
