The boy is all class, carries himself unbelievably well. The next cricketing prodigy.
I've been told he's in our squad for the under 19's world cup, which is a feat in itself.

where'd you get the tape? wasnt on foxtel at all was it?Originally posted by phatandphreaky
Saw him play two matches at the Under 19's carnival on tape. In one, he opened the bowling and took 2-30 odd, then made 25 with the bat.
The kid will be playing for Australia before he turns 20.

Endevour Sports High School, dont know about Stephen thoughOriginally posted by Weaver
And in the NSW under-23 side as well, not bad at 16. Kerry O'Keefe was talking about him on the ABC during the tests.
My hazy memory thinks that Moises played at the same school or club as Kerry O'Keefe's son ... there is a Stephen O'Keefe in the squad as well (NSW captain) ... is this Stephen related to Kerry?

do you know his background? The name sounds Jewish.
This is what i found on Google
Moises Henriques is from Maputo, Mozambique. He did some training in electrical engineering in Hillcrest (near Durban). Henriques is also skilled in repairing and setting up computers. He has been doing this with Joe's computer project for several years. He still devotes some time to this, but most of his time is now spent on running Cross-Connections, a Christian networking ministry for the city of Durban. He is going from ministry to ministry collecting information about what Christians are involved in around the city. There is also a web site that has been set up for this ministry and soon a monthly newspaper will be printed about various ministries around the city.

Both Kerry and Stephen are O'Keeffe, not O'Keefe (which Johnny O'Keefe was) and are 35 years apart, so with Stephen O'Keeffe being born in Malaysia and being a left arm orthodox bowler, not a leggie like Kerry... I don't know if they are related!Originally posted by Weaver

Interesting.
Is he a swing bowler, line and length bowler, one who uses the seam....outright bloody fast pace for a 16 year old?
Will keep an eye out for him.

Pure pace, but unlike Lee, he actually thinks his bowling through. Bowls a good line, at a great clip.
