I'm very happy to have him, I must say... I didn't want to lose Thompson, but Maloney is a great replacement IMO.

He sounded happy with the arrangement on SEN tonight, too.

Moloney will be a revelation for you guys next year. Very unlucky to be axed from us this year, and I wish him all the best next year. I still wish he was on our list for 2005, but them’s the breaks.

And he's just the sort of player clubs need. Puts his head over the ball and goes in hard every time.

I would have been very happy for the Blues to give up pick 9 for him so great going by the Dees.

yeh we have experienced guys coming 2 a near end 2 the career like Junior and Rigoni who have served us very well...and White aint young either but should be okay baring injury.

then a great group of youngish experienced players: TJ, Bruce, Green, Yze(not so young anymore)

then our young guns that could realli get us a premiership if combined with the rest of the team.

I really believe that this will be one of the best win/win trades ever. Ottens is exactly what the cats need and could eb the difference between a top 4 position and Moloney is exactly what we need. It's going to be interesting watching them play next year.

Congtatualtions on the pick up. Bomber's emotional response to losing him tells you how he's considered down at the cattery. He wore Garry Hocking's 32, is built like a brick you know what and in his first ever game he ran onto the ground from the bench and laid 2 smashing tackles before his first touch which was a long kick from the center into the forward 50.

He will be missed. Good luck for the future Brent.

Bruce, McDonald, Johnstone will be the first choice I suspect. I reckon Moloney will play on the wing with Green on the other side. Yze, Read and Heffernan will be next on the ball. Not sure if Daniher will play McLean, Bell and Sylvia in the middle yet.

I hope brocky, bell and sylvia get good minutes in the middle next year, because they are our future, and should get more time than this year.

Bell is 20/21 I think so he will be a bit more matured than the other two, even if he has played less games than them. I'd be interested to see if The Rev gives him game time in the middle or as a HBF.
