Hammill didn't have a great game but that last handball to set up Keays goal was so clean. Put right where he wanted Keays to run to. Crouches could learn a thing or two from that handball.
Crouches should not handball to each other... Which would be made easy if Mrouch was rightly dropped til he is fit for AFL footy.

Play Reilly OBrien at centre half back has to offer more than both Hartigan and McAsey currently and give Strachan a go as our tap ruck....nothing to lose at this point.

You’ve gotta be taking the absolute mickey. Reilly as good as he is around the ground against bumbling ruckman would get made to look like an absolute clown. “Nothing to lose” you’d think we lost by 70. Pick up your lip, back in the kid and we’ll reap the rewards 3 years from now.

Easily our best performance of the season, just missed golden opportunities on the half time siren and during the 3rd quarter. Finally saw some quick ball movement down the centre which was beautiful to watch. The performances are getting better by the week and unfortunately the Saints were ultra efficient in their forward 50 tonight which didn’t help either when we were so wasteful.

Laird played his best game of the season, far more attacking tonight and tackled well. Went away from the dinky backwards handballs and took the game on more.

Keays solid again.

Tex played his best game of the season and was in our best 5.

Stengle had some really nice moments, especially when he came back through the centre from a tricky contested situation.

ROB was a monster all night. Doedee was his usual self. Mackay looked to move the ball quick.

Matt was insipid again, Hartigan kept spoiling to the back.

Chayce had some nice moments but just can’t enough of the ball right now. Hamill didn’t have his best night so far but he will learn. McAsey running back with the flight of the ball, wow.
ROB is giving us nothing in the ruck other than his body...early in the last quarter the commentators said Ryder had 11 hit outs to advantage, that's basically 11 uncontestable clearances

Agree 100% his lack of ruck work is hurting crows midfield big time. Strahan was good again on the weekend.

Played almost his complete draft year at centre half back for the Calder Cannons when Jake Lever went down with an ACL including more than holding his own on the TAC Cup's then Gun Forward Darcy Moore in the Grand Final. You won't see ROB outmarked like the current CHB's we're employing.

From the ribbon it looked like we won or were around the mark on most stats..........with one notable exception - centre clearances.

Yep. But playing too well around the ground to be dropped. Can we carry 2 ruckmen?

Agree. There’s no point racking possessions if you cannot hit a ball to advantage. His role in the team is a ruckman!!
