You HAVE to change your Team as your playing 5 pure bats!

The Mase needs to be watched :p

There is a rule you can only have 4 pure of each kind..ie batsmen or bowlers. The remainder have to be a wicketkeeper and 2 non pure ie allrounders.

uhh, Since when??

I have gone in with 5 pure batsman for bloody ages, in the tests and now the one-dayers, no one has said anything to me!

In that squad there is:

PiesPremiers (PB)
TheMase (c) (PB)
SpecialBruce (PB)
Player (PB)
Bubbalouis (PB)
Powergirl36 (wk)
Kretchy NON PURE
Stegelator NON PURE
Hoggy Pure bowler
Seindude Pure Bowler
Dipper (vc) Pure Bowler

Now my understanding of the rule was that you need to have 2 non pure players (other than the wicket keeper).

I have that.
I have never heard of this 4 batsman crap ...

And I must be doing it right, because Joshhem has said nothing, and considering he runs the game, he would know by looking at who is playing in the game.

You could be right?

Maybe as long as you have 2 nonpure+wicketkeeper you can have the remaining 8 pure types as batsman or bowlers.

I would like EKA or Joshhem to rule on this?

Once again Allies vice captain DIPPER was his usual prickly self as he refused to duck any issue in his pre game media conference.

First up was his shock demotion down the batting order.'Well mate to say I was a bit surprised was an understatement, I'd understand if Seindude had been scoring loads of runs or had been left stranded not out every time but that's not the case.I thought me & TheMase were pretty close but if he can't even be bothered to take me to one side & let me know his plans then I reckon it's pretty poor all round.I can't see how this isn't going to put a strain on our relationship as captain/vice-captain.Let's face it there's no way in the world I'm a no11 batsman.'

At this point with the assembled media already buzzing with a good story it got better for them as it became clear that the Essex Express was only warming up as they sat open mouthed whilst he openly criticised the selection of the team for this match'I really can't believe what's going on here, I had absolutely no input into the selection of the team, last season the reason that things went so well was the thought that me & Masey put into team selection but this time it seems like he just puts the first 11 names down that he can think of.How he can leave out WCE2000 is beyond me, this bloke is the backbone of the team,he was AA allrounder last season & he regularly chips in with half centuries as well as being one of our best bowlers. To drop a player of this calibre strikes me as shooting yourself in the foot, then there's Thommo16, what's this bloke got to do?It's the perfect opportunity to put him in the 1day side & let him get some experience & build his confidence but our top 5 seems like a closed shop at the moment, after their horror collapse in the last Test I'd have thought that they should all have been looking over their shoulders but instead they've all been (at this point DIPPER makes a quotations mark sign)'rewarded' with selection for this game.'

When asked what DIPPER thought was the reason for a cooling in his relationship with the Mase he indicated that he felt that his captain was being influenced by someone else in the team who was trying to increase his own standing at the club whilst trying to destroy DIPPER's reputation & professional integrity.
An almost tearful DIPPER reiterated his passion for Allies cricket but ominously for all Allies supporters left big question marks over his future'Look I love this club, I always have but if I'm being squeezed out & it ceases to be fun then i'd have to look at other avenues.I'm not getting any younger & although I've achieved most things in the game but I'm still hungry for more success & to be part of another Premiership winning side.'

Dipper, I have put you at number 11 to try and pick up the form of the bowlers, aswell as the fact that you will now be opening the bowling ....

I had to bring someone in, and as Kretchy got 6 wickets in the last match, and the fact I had to give steggie a dig, so I had to drop an alrounder...

Thommo16 struggled in her first game, so I thought I would give her a rest and bring our vetran Bubba back into the lineup.

Those are my reasons for the changes

SEINDUDE SEEN RECEIVING COACHING TIPS FROM ADAM GILCHRIST

The much talked about young Allies fast bowler SeinDude was seen receiving batting tips from the Australian Vice-Captain, Adam Gilchrist.

Although SeinDude is reluctant to speak to the media at this stage until he proves himself in the Allies side, he did make a brief statement saying that he's been watching Glenn McGrath and how much Steve Waugh has assisted him with his batting and decided it was a good idea, "I wanted to seek advice and some tips from the best batsman and Adam Gilchrist was only too happy to help which was a tremendous experience for me!"

SeinDude's bowling has been tidy so far in the matches he's played, but with the pitches this time of year favouring the batsman, wickets have been hard to come by, but the Sein remains confident he has what it takes to be the next big thing to come out of the Allies since their current captain, TheMase burst on the scene and took the fantasy cricket by storm a couple of seasons ago.
