Something different today with an afternoon run followed by a pie night.
All the players had their junior or first club jersey's on which made it a fraction harder to reconize everyone straight up.

Anyway only the senior team from the weekend had a serious run today with the others completing rehab earlier in the day.

Nash didnt train.

Hislop was also a non trainer but he often does nothing on mondays.

Lovett trained but wasnt using his left arm much. Obviously he has no structual damage but must be in some doubt with bruising.

Didnt see Leroy so i can report anything there.

Davey was back doing some running today.

Hirdy was also out running again.

Fletcher trained without any problems.

Campo was out doing some modified training.

No sign of Johns or Reimers but Lee and Lonergan trained.

Stanton put in probably his best training run for weeks. Didnt look to be suffering any problems. I have given up trying to work out what is going on after he looked lame on saturday.

Winderlich trained very well and will be back this week.

Dempsey also trained well and could be a likely starter for Bendigo this week.

ant stanton was struggling on saturday due to the flu but got some mail 4 you the board is split 50/50 on sheedy an the ones against him want danhier which i believe would be a massive mistake.I have no hope for neale as our coach far to soft and my mail from melbpourne is he is to slow to react in the box as you can see by melbournes finals

Cheers tock's.
Stants may well have had the flu (a few others did as well) but that didnt affect his ankle. Seriously he couldnt change direction without pulling up with a limp and he couldnt kick properly either.

As for the board we will only know what will happen over a bit of time. The one concern i have with Daniher was the fact that Melbourne where never considered a tough team mentally or physically during his time.

It was the flu that caused him to miss training last Friday, his ankle is 100%.

It's not the reason he's been struggling.

Well he actually trained last friday. It was Wednesday that he missed.;) Secondly do tell why he is struggling..... I know he pulled up with some hammy soreness after the Bulldogs game , what else has he had ?

Wednesday/Friday/Tuesday/Thursday.....It's all a blur.

If the club haven't disclosed what the problem is, I'm sure they have a very good reason for it. But his ankle has been fine for a couple of weeks.

There's nothing wrong with him, you said it yourself. He trained fine today.

You where the one who mentioned the ankle wasnt the reason he was struggling. Now we know the flu doesnt give you a limp.......
Why mention it ;)
