Would it be feasible if the club put a clause in his contract that he loses a certain percentage of his match payment if he gets suspended, ie. 5% for the first offence, 10% for the second, etc.? And offer him a bonus at the end of the season if he doesn't get reported during the season. I don't know how it would work with the salary cap and all, but might be a good incentive for him to pull his head in a bit.

Yeah that could be a good motivator, but I think it's something inside his head that just tweaks he just gets carried away in the heat of the moment?!

I heard that being suspended 4 separate times in a season is a VFL/AFL record!

Clubs are booking players in now for post season surgery eg knees ,ankles,shoulders and wrists is, a partial lobotomy out of the question before you consider trading him ?

Let me start a rumour. Mooney is so hepped up on the player infighting that he is looking for any way out of having to play with them. Somebody probably slept with his dog, while drunkenly breaking their ankles on Bomber Thompsons desk. It was probably Kingsley.

I think Cameron mooney needs to really wake up to himself its disgusting to see a player with his talent getting suspended over and over again for basically the same thing all of the time I think he needs similar treatment that Browny got for his anger issues when he had them . jonathan Brown took up boxing as an anger outlet I think mooney needs to do something similar to that.

What Mooney has had done to him don't you mean. Two week suspension was imposed, as was the fine. Apology? Big deal and I think the professional advise has been arranged for him.

Frankly, Mooney hasn't made any personal steps to fix anything and now those steps are being made for him.

Dissapointing to say the least.

Just doing some maths about Mooney's suspension. Tell me if I'm wrong but by the end of the season Mooney will have missed 23% of games due to suspension.

But then again... up to the last round Kent Kingsley has missed 60% of games due to bad form (and possibly an injury in round 1).
