Why? It is a very real question that list managers need to think through all the time. It doesn't matter how similar or different they are.
My view is Moore pretty clearly. Moore can be really effective at positions that we don't have much (any) depth - e.g. key defence, key forward, key forward with ruck. Elliott is good by position, but is best coming out of the goal square and frankly so are De Goey, Stephenson and WHE. He hasn't shown the flexibility to be able to play up the field too much yet.
If I had to choose, I'd choose Moore.

AFter this year Moore is now a proven finals star. Elliot looked good in the Geelong game but went missing vs GWS so the jury is still out on how well he can stand finals heat, which is the most important trait in a player unless you are happy to just make the 8.
So at this stage Moore, he was superb vs GWS.

We have 3 other talented footballers on our list that can play the Elliot role. Moore on the other hand, we don't have as many riches.

Think Moore will be the hardest to sell as Pickers is going to drive a hard bargain and if he plays well again, other clubs will offer big money. Jordy and Brodie will stay, but not sure about Darcy. Think that Brodie will have to knock a few years of his demands though.

Agree, but Lyon was talking one million for Moore this morning. There is no way we can pay him that, Jordy over one million and Grundy even more. Bulldogs etc. will offer Moore a lot.

Nah they will not get that with us. And Lyon hasn’t, like a lot of them got a clue.

You may be right but mid-career is when players like to maximise their earnings. Loyalty only goes so far. One of them may walk. I am tipping Moore the most likely. I know that Jordy gave up money to stay with us, he is very loyal.
